Our flat is located in wonderful Rummelsburg, just behind Ostkreuz which is lively Friedrichshain, the center of Berlin east. The flat is only 2 minutes walking from public transport that brings you within 25 minutes to Hauptbahnhof (main train station) and 45 mins to BER airport door to door.
We are facing the waterfront, there you can go for a walk or run. Also a bakery is in 2 mins walking distance.
Apart from that, a lot of shops, art, bars, restaurants, shops, clubs... are just around Ostkreuz.

Unsere Wohnung liegt im schönen Rummelsburg, genau hinterm Ostkreuz, welches zu Friedrichshain gehört und das Kulturzentrum im Berliner Ostern ist. In nur 2 Geh-Minuten gehst du zu den Öffis, die direkt zum Hauptbahnhof oder zur Warschauer Straße fahren. In 45 Minuten ist man Tür-zu-Tür am Flughafen BER.
Um unser Haus herum ist es super aufgeräumt, ein Bäcker ist in 2 Minuten zu Fuß erreicht. Wir sind außerdem direkt an der Wasserpromenade, wo man wunderbar spazieren oder joggen kann. Gleich neben dem Haus sind Tischtennisplatten.
Ansonsten sind beim Ostkreuz viele kleine Shops, Kunst, Bars, Restaurants, Clubs.

Additionally in the 5th floor, there is a bathroom, fully equipped kitchen with the big nice sunny balcony facing the waterfront connected to your room.

Then there is Tanja, a nice and calm environment and security engineer, very polite, loves vegan cuisine.

Then you can follow the stairways to get to the 6th floor.

I, Lili, have my stuff there, but mainly I am not at home. So we use it as a living room or guest room with room for yoga, DIY, Coworking. So the upstairs room is the living room and my parttime spot to sleep at the same time. I am very busy, so often on the road.
So when I am not there, you can use the living room as a guest room, too :)

The upstairs room comes with a wonderful sunny rooftop terrace, facing the waterfront, too. Here you can do urban gardening, yoga as well, having barbecue or drinks in summertime or just relax in the sun.

So rarely, we love to host like a barbecue, or a book reading session, but in general, its a quiet, cozy place. Tanja mainly works in the office, sometimes at home. I am setting up my own recruitment business at the moment and also working on some other projects (co-living house in Spain, co-living in Berlin, writing a book), so travelling a lot.

In Deutsch gibts nur die Kurzfassung, ich denke, die meisten sprechen auch Englisch und können das oben lesen :)

Es wohnen in der WG noch Tanja, Ingenieurin. Sie ist cute, sehr sauber, ruhig, ernährt sich vegan (ist aber auch ok wenn du nicht vegan isst ☺️) steht früh auf und geht auch rexht früh ins Bett und macht gerne Sport.
Ich, Lili, habe meine Sachen im oberen Teil der Maisonnett-Wohung, bin aber fast nie da. Daher 2,3-Leute-WG. Der Bereich oben hat 40 qm, welcher als Wohnzimmer genutzt wird. Davon geht eine riesige Dachterrasse ab, auf der wir auch schon mal eine Poolparty gehostet haben. Was aber bisher eine einmalige Sache war.

Ab und an sind hier mal Leute, aber meistens geht es eher ruhig und gemütlich zu. Bei Lese- oder Filmabend, oder jeder chillt für sich.

Es gibt zudem einen Aufzug, einen Fahrradkeller, ein Kellerabteil und einen Tiefgaragenstellplatz.
