Looking for a flatmate- I recently moved here from US for work and I have a 3 room apartment, second bedroom is up for grabs. It’s a recently renovated altbau apartment with fitted kitchen, we’d be sharing a big living room with balcony.

Your bedroom has 15 sqm and is unfurnished. The windows are facing the street, and the room is slightly small, but sufficient for one person. On the plus side you’d have a lot of sun. The cost would be 900€ warm plus energy bills and internet to share (~50€).

The apartment is located in north-west Friedrichshain, very close to the southern entrance to Volkspark Friedrichshain. Two-minute walk to the M5/6/8 at Platz der Vereinten Nationen and 10 minute walk to U-Bahn Strausberger Platz. Lidl is 2 minutes away and other stores are within 10/15 minutes walk/tram.

I recently moved to Berlin for work from the USA. I like to read and run and like to spend my weekends exploring museums and cafes. I like to cook and maintain a healthy lifestyle, so always up for workout classes and home workouts.

I’m looking for someone who’s easy going,open to being friends, and an animal lover, as I might move my 2 cats from US at some point (currently they’re staying with my parents). If you’re a fan of sharing dinners together and enjoying occasional movie nights please get in touch. Besides that, It's important to me to have the kitchen and common areas clean, but I'm okay with the occasional clutter as long as it eventually gets cleaned up.

I would like to find someone who could move in by June, but the move in date is slightly flexible.
