In unserer schönen Altbauwohnung wird spätestens zum 01.09. ein WG-Zimmer frei - daher suchen wir Dich als neue/n Mitbewohner*in.
Das Zimmer geht - so wie alle Zimmer - von einem kleinen Dielenflur ab und ist mit seinen 18m² recht großzügig geschnitten. Es ist mit einem Dielenboden ausgestattet, verfügt weiterhin über ein großes Fenster, das zur Seitenstraße raus geht (Nordseite), einer hohen Altbaudecke sowie ein paar schönen Schrägen und einer Fensterbank, die zum rumlümmeln einlädt. Im Hochsommer ist es dort im Vergleich zur restlichen Wohnung immer noch recht kühl.
Insgesamt verfügt die Wohnung über 110m² und ist aufgeteilt in drei WG-Zimmer, eine große Wohnküche, ein eher gemütliches Wohnzimmer/Gästezimmer/Bandzimmer sowie ein kleines Bad mit Badewanne.
Weiterhin gibt es einen Wäschekeller, der gemeinsam von allen Parteien genutzt wird sowie einen kleinen Keller, in dem man Zeug und/oder ein Fahrrad unterbringen kann.
Der kleine Garten kann nach Absprache mit den anderen Parteien mitbenutzt werden.

In our beautiful old building apartment is at the latest to 01.09. a shared room free - therefore we are looking for you as a new roommate.
The room is - like all rooms - off a small hallway and is quite spacious with its 18m². It is equipped with a floorboard, has a large window facing the side street (north side), a high ceiling as well as some nice slopes and a windowsill that invites you to lounge around. In high summer, it is still quite cool there compared to the rest of the apartment.
In total, the apartment has 110m² and is divided into three shared rooms, a large eat-in kitchen, a rather cozy living room/guest room/band room and a small bathroom with bathtub.
Furthermore, there is a laundry room that is shared by all parties and a small cellar where you can store stuff and / or a bike.
The small garden can be shared by arrangement with the other parties.
Das Haus befindet sich in einer ruhigen Nebenstraße (Ostmannturm-Viertel) zentral in der Bielefelder Innenstadt zwischen Herforder- und Augustbebelstr. - obwohl dies beides recht laute Straßen sind bekommt man vom Stadtlärm nicht viel mit und kann auch im Sommer gut bei offenen Fenster schlafen, ohne dass der Verkehr wahrnehmbar ist.
Durch die super Lage in der Nähe des Bielefelder Hauptbahnhofs ist eigentlich alles ziemlich zügig und fußläufig zu erreichen - Läden des täglichen Bedarfs, ÖPNV, Ravensberger-Park, Bars, Clubs, etc.
- Hauptbahnhof: 5 Minuten wenn man die Ampel ignoriert oder Glück hat, 7 Minuten bis zum Gleis 8
- Jahnplatz/Innenstadt: 8 Minuten
- Universität: 7 Minuten vom Hauptbahnof mit der S-Bahn
- Kiosk (mit Kartenzahlung), Apotheke, Bäckerei, Schnellimbisse sind mehrfach um die Ecke zu finden
- Zum Einkaufen (Combi, Rewe im Loom oder Augustbebelstr.) sind in etwa 10 Minuten gediegen zu erreichen
- Gegenüber/Potemkin/PlanB/Forum - 5-10 Minuten.
Einen Stellplatz für Pkw gibt es leider nicht, direktes Parken in der Straße ist schwierig.

The house is located in a quiet side street (Ostmannturm-Viertel) centrally in Bielefeld's city center between Herforder- and Augustbebelstr. - although these are both quite noisy streets you don't hear much of the city noise and can sleep well with open windows even in summer without the traffic being noticeable.
Due to the super location near the Bielefeld main station, everything is actually quite quickly to rach and within walking distance like stores for daily needs, public transport, Ravensberger Park, bars, clubs, etc..
- Hauptbahnhof: 5 minutes if you ignore the traffic lights or are lucky, 7 minutes to platform 8
- Jahnplatz/downtown: 8 minutes
- Kiosk (with card payment), pharmacy, bakery, fast food can be found several times around the corner
- Shopping (Combi, Rewe in the LoomCenter or Augustbebelstr.) can be reached in about 10 minutes.
- Gegenüber/Potemkin/PlanB/Forum - 5-10 minutes.
Unfortunately, there is no parking space for cars, direct parking in the street is difficult.
Das WG-Leben ist recht harmonisch - wir sind recht ruhige, gediegene und weltoffene Dudes, die einfach eine gute Zeit haben möchten.
Oft wird die Küche oder das Wohnzimmer für einen Plausch bei Kaffee oder Bier genutzt und sich ausgetauscht. Daneben wird gerne in die Kneipe, auf Konzerte oder in den Park gegangen.
Gemeinsam Plattenhören, ein Jam oder ein gemeinsamer Filmabend kommen auch mal vor.
Wir (Martin & Martin) sind im allgemeinen recht viel unterwegs, sodass es auch mal vorkommt, dass wir auf Grund unserer unterschiedlichen Ausgestaltung von Work-Life-Balance auch mal ein paar Wochen aneinander vorbei leben.
Martin (28) studiert Soziologie/Philosophie an der Universität und hat dort einen Job im Bereich der Religionspsychologie.
Daneben spielt er in verschiedenen Bands und Projekten, mit denen nach Corona wieder Auftritte anstehen.
In seiner Freizeit interessiert er sich neben Musik für Kunst und Philosophie ist aber auch ein Fan von Serien, Filmen oder einem guten Buch.
Durch die musikalische Tätigkeit ist er oft auf Achse und am Wochenende meistens am Proben oder Gigs dran.
Im Allgemeinen ein ziemlich entspannter Typ, der oft für einen Kaffe-Schwatz zu haben ist.
Martin (31) pendelt unter der Woche nach Steinhagen, wo er in einem Start-Up Pedalboards baut. Im Herbst beginnt er eine Weiterbildung zum Eventmanager und fährt am Wochenende regelmäßig nach Mainz.
Daneben organisiert er regelmäßige Konzerte im Potemkin, Forum und supportet Bands bei ihren Bookings.
In der Freizeit wird Gitarre gespielt - aktuell ohne aktive Band - oder die Konsole angeworfen - Bierchen trinken und dummes Zeug quatschen oder gemeinsam etwas kochen gehen eigentlich immer.
Es wäre cool, wenn Du Interesse an Gemeinschaft hast, jedoch auch etwas gesetzter bist und in der WG keinen Familien-Ersatz suchst. Gerne würden wir uns eine weitere kreative Person wünschen - eine/n Künstler*in, Musiker*in, Designer*in, etc. - Raum zur Entfaltung gibt es jedenfalls :-)

The WG life is quite harmonious - Actually, we are rather quiet, chilled and open-minded dudes who just want to have a good time.
The kitchen or the living room is often used for a chat and exchange over coffee or beer. Besides, we like to go to bars, to concerts or to the park.
Listening to records together, a jam or a common movie night also happens sometimes.
We (Martin & Martin) are generally on the road quite a lot, so it also happens that we sometimes live a few weeks past each other due to our different work-life balance.
It would be cool if you are interested in community, but also a bit more settled and not looking for a family substitute in the WG.
Martin (28, bass, guitar, vocals, piano) studies sociology/philosophy at the university and has a job there in the field of religious psychology.
In addition, he plays in various bands and projects, with which gigs are scheduled again after Corona.
In his free time, besides music, he is interested in art and philosophy but is also a fan of series, movies or a good book.
Due to his musical activities he is often on the road and on weekends mostly rehearsing or gigging.
In general a pretty relaxed guy who is often available for a coffee chat.
