Hallöchen ihr Lieben, :-)
da ich (Jacky) ab August 2019 für 2 Semester nach Finnland zum studieren gehe wird mein 17 qm möbliertes Zimmer bis mindestens Juni 2020 frei. Allerdings würde ich noch ein Praktikum machen, weshalb das Zimmer prinzipiell bis Oktober 2020 frei ist. Ob ich ein Praktikum erhalte ist allerdings noch nicht fest. Sprich, das wird sich noch ergeben. Eventuell wird es sich auch noch auf Dezember 2020 verlängern. Dies wird sich aber wie gesagt noch klären, je nachdem ob ich ein Praktikum erhalte. Das Zimmer für also mindestens 1 Jahr bis Juni 2020 zur Verfügung und eignet sich daher eigentlich für jede Situation bestens. Gerne können wir auch noch mal wegen dem Einzugs- und Auszugsdatum reden, es soll für dich ja auch passend sein.
Auf jeden Fall wäre das Zimmer im 3. Stock, was super ist, da du somit immer ein bisschen Workout hast! Man gewöhnt sich schnell daran und es ist nicht schlimm :) am besten ist sowieso, dass wir genau oben drüber den Dachboden haben, auf dem du deine Wäsche trocknen kannst nachdem du sie in der großen Wohnküche gewaschen hast. Unsere Wohnung hat eigentlich alles was das Herz begehrt. Neben der Waschmaschine und den üblichen Dingen gibt es eine Vorratskammer, Kaffeemaschine, Smoothiemaker, Shaker, Backsachen, Mikrowelle, großer Kühlschrank, etc. inkl. großer Couch, White board und eine Waschmaschine :)
Das möblierte Zimmer hat ein 140x220cm großes Bett, einen großen TV, Schreibtisch mit Rollen inklusiver des bequemsten Stuhl der Welt und halt Kleiderschrank und Kommoden.
Weiteren Stauraum hast du sonst noch in den Kommoden im Flur oder in einem unserer beider Kellerabteile. Platzprobleme solltest du also nicht bekommen :D
Alles bekommst du für 300€ warm, inkl. aller Nebenkosten und des Festnetz-Telefons in der WG. Kaution wäre 700€. :-)

I will be studying abroad from August 2019 until at least June 2020 my furnished room of the size of 17 square food will be available. As I do not know yet whether I will get an internship afterwards my journey might be extended until October or even December 2020. But, that depends on whether I get an internship or not, which I still need to figure out. Anyway, the room will be available until at least June 2020, but we can still discuss the moving in and out date, you shall feel comfortable too.
The room is on the 3rd floor, which might sound more inconvenient first as it actually is. You get used to it way faster than you might think and additionally, think of it as a daily small work out. The best part about it is probably the attic right above where you can hang your laundry to dry.
As you have might already figured, we have a washer in our living/kitchen area. Besides that we also have a couch, coffee and smoothie maker, shaker, microwave, extra storage room, backing utilities, huge fridge and a white board (in case you might need one :D).
My - so your room - also has everything you might need. A huge bed - size of 140x220 cm -, large TV, rolling table (trust me, sometimes it is really comfy to actually being able to move the table around) with the most comfy chair and a wardrobe and some dressers. If you would still need space, there are more dressers in the hall that you could use. Moreover, we have two rooms in the basement. So, there should be enough space for your stuff, I am sure!! :D
You get all of it for 300€ including TV, water, etc., and the flat’s shared phone (calls within Germany are part of the company’s contract) with two stations within the flat! :-) Surety is 700 €

Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein. Zwei Straßen hinter dem Hauptbahnhof liegt auch schon unsere Wohnung. 5-10 Minuten (je nachdem wie schnell du läufst) zu Fuß und du erreichst Tram, Regional und Fernzüge. Tram 4 bringt dich in 7 Minuten zur Uni und fährt alle 5 Minuten während der Semesterzeit. Also gerade morgens ist da kaum ein Stress. Zum Stadtzentrum kannst du jede Bahn nehmen und bist damit in 1 Minute am Jahnplatz. Falls du doch mal laufen wollen würdest bist du auch schon in 10 Minuten am Jahnplatz oder in 3 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad. Daher hast du nachts auch keine Probleme. Clubs, Bars, Restaurant, Kino, etc. befindet sich alles in Fußnähe in so 10 Minuten, ca. 3 Minuten mit dem Rad. Ansonsten fährt aber auch ein Nachtbus direkt vor der Tür ab. Daneben befindet sich Apotheke, Bäcker, Kiosk und türkischer Supermarkt (super frisches Gemüse). Also, wenn du mal nicht so lange laufen willst hast du eigentlich alles vor der Tür. Ansonsten befindet sich zu Fuß in 10 Minuten einmal der REWE im LOOM (Einkaufszentrum in der Innenstadt) oder ein Combi um die Ecke. Beides ungefähr 3 Minuten mit dem Rad. Des Weiteren gibt es noch einen Real und ein Zentrum mit REWE und ALDI in der Nähe. Ungefähr 10 Minuten mit dem Rad, 15-20 Minuten zu Fuß.
Du bist durch die zentrale Lage also super angebunden. Falls du allerdings doch ein Auto haben solltest, Parkplätze befinden sich direkt auf der Straße. Bewohnerparken ist schon ab 15€ für 6 Monate oder 30€ für ein ganzes Jahr erhältlich.

The location could not be better. The flat is right behind central station, 5-10 minutes walking (depends on your speed). At central station you have access to any tram as well as regional and long distance trains. Tram 4 takes you straight to uni within 7 minutes. So, door-to-door you will be at uni within 15-20 minutes. Best thing about it is that tram 4 goes every 5 minutes within the semester. Every 10 minutes during semester break.
If you wanna head towards city you can take any tram and you will reach the city center (Jahnplatz) within 1 minute. In case you prefer to walk instead you will be at the city in around 10 minutes, 3 minutes by bike. But, especially night activities are all in walking distance within 10 minutes or 3 minutes by bike again :-) In case you need anything the night after you find a kiosk, pharmacy, some bakery or a Turkish supermarket (really good fresh veggies) right in front of the door. Other supermarkets are REWE in Loom (mall at city center) or Combi close by within 10 minutes by walking or 3 minutes by bike. Other shops such as REAL or a center including another REWE and an ALDI are within 15-20 minutes walking distance or 7-10 minutes by bike. Oh and the post office is not far as well, also 10 minutes by walking and 3 minutes by bike!
If you have a car instead, you can park it right in front the flat for just 15€ for 6 months or 30€ for a year. But, usually you will not need it as the flat is right at the city. :-)

Meine Mitbewohnerinnen sind wohl das beste an meiner WG. Julia (26) und Laureen (25) studieren beide Wirtschaftsmathe im Master. Laureen hat vor 2 Semestern aber noch parallel angefangen ihren 2. Bachelor in Biologie zu absolvieren. Wie du siehst haben wir alle recht viel zu tun mit Uni, Arbeit aber auch Ehrenamt. Allerdings nehmen wir uns immer wieder Zeit und unternehmen etwas gemeinsam. Egal ob abends mal ausgehen, Mensa, Kochen, WG-Abende oder was gemeinsam mit Freunden. Bei uns ist das alles sehr ausgeglichen, aber glaube mir, du wirst dich in der herzlichen und lustigen Atmosphäre mit den Mädels + Thorben (23 – Jules Freund) direkt wohl fühlen! Falls du dann aber doch mal Zeit für dich brauchst, natürlich auch kein Problem. Ein Mittelmaß macht die Dinge würde ich sagen :-) Aber auf jeden Fall keine Zweck-WG, so soll es auch bleiben! Aber alles bleibt hier freiwillig, fühle dich also auch nicht gezwungen! Genauso machen wir auch unseren „Putzplan“ oder den Einkauf von gemeinsamen Dingen, wie z.B. Toilettenpapier. Jede von uns kümmert sich drum und das klappt super!

My flat mates are probably the best part about the flat. Julia (26) and Laureen (25) are both studying math and economics. Laureen just started another bachelor’s in biology though, so Laureen has more options :-) We all are often busy with uni, work and volunteering but, nonetheless, we always schedule dates for cooking, going out for bars, having lunch at mensa or just playing games in the living/kitchen area. You do not need to feel obligated to join every time but it would be nice if you join time to time as we rather have a friends flat than a mere functional one. But, you always have the possibility to take some time for yourself. But trust me, you will feel at home right away as after all the girls and Thorben (23 – Julia’s boyfriend) are really funny and lovely. Indeed, everything can be and is not a must! So is our „cleaning schedule“ and the „plan“ of getting shared groceries such as toilet paper. Every one of us buys stuff or cleans whenever one has the feeling it is needed! It has been working since :-) But we are always open for other ideas!! After all you shall feel at home :-)

Ich hoffe, ich habe jetzt auch alles Wichtige erzählt. Falls nein, bitte scheue dich nicht mich unter ----/------- anzusprechen. Da ich momentan allerdings eine Menge zu tun habe mit Prüfungen, Ehrenämtern und Vorbereitung meines Auslandsjahres, schreibe mir am besten auf Whatsapp oder so! Anrufe kann ich auch gerade bei dem schlechten Empfang in der Uni nur schwer entgegennehmen. Ich melde mich dann aber so schnell wie ich kann bei dir! Wir wollen dich ja so schnell wie möglich kennenlernen :-) Also, melde dich gerne bei mir/uns wenn du Fragen hast oder vorbei kommen willst. Skype geht bestimmt auch, Treffen ist aber natürlich immer besser. Immerhin bist du ja ein Jahr bei uns und da wäre es uns und für dich ja bestimmt auch schöner dir alles vorab schon mal persönlich angesehen zu haben :-)
