Bist du auf der Suche nach einem Zimmer zur Untermiete für 3 Monate in einer Wohngemeinschaft? Dann könnten Sie hier richtig sein, denn ab dem 1. September 2023 wird ein großes Zimmer in unserer 4er-WG in Bonn-Beuel frei:
Das Zimmer:
20m² Zimmer für 343€ Monat*.
*(alle Kosten inklusive; also Kaltmiete, Balkon, Nebenkosten, Strom, GEZ, Telefon/Internet, Hausratversicherung). Das Zimmer wird möbliert übergeben.
Das Zimmer ist sehr hell und geräumig und nachmittags schön sonnig.
Zur Wohnung:
Ein absolutes Plus ist der großzügige Balkon (Westseite), der ab dem Nachmittag viele Stunden pralle Sonne bietet und für alle da ist, auch wenn der Zugang 'nur' durch zwei Zimmer möglich ist. Auf dem Balkon haben wir es uns mit Sitzgelegenheiten, einem Hochbeet und generell vielen Pflanzen gemütlich gemacht. Er ist ein superschönes Örtchen zum Verweilen, Bierchen trinken und Besuch empfangen :)
Nicht nur der Balkon, die gesamte Wohnung ist mit ihren 135 m² sehr großzügig geschnitten. Die Küche wurde von uns selbst eingebaut und bietet genug Platz um sich mit Kochen, Backen, Einmachen oder sonstigen Küchenaktivitäten auszutoben. Die Küche ist derzeit mit zwei Kühlschränken, Spülmaschine, Backofen und weiteren Gerätschaften ausgestattet.
Angeschlossen an die Küche haben wir ein schönes Esszimmer, welches außerdem viel Stauraum für Lebensmitte bietet. Als weiteren Gesellschaftsraum haben wir noch ein Wohnzimmer mit einer riesigen Ausziehcouch, was sich sehr für gemeinsame Filmeabende anbietet oder auch wenn Besuch übernachtet.
Wir haben sowohl ein Bad (inkl. Waschmaschine) als auch eine separate Toilette, was sehr praktisch in einer WG ist. Außerdem verfügen wir über zwei kleine Kämmerchen auf dem Dachboden des Hauses, in denen wir so einigen Krimskrams verstauen können. Dein Fahrrad kannst du im hauseigenen Fahrradkeller unterbringen.
Der einzige Nachteil der Wohnung ist, dass sie an einer zweispurigen Hauptstraße liegt. Allerdings befinden sich alle Schlafzimmer (auch das angebotene Zimmer) und der Balkon auf der wesentlich ruhigeren Westseite der Wohnung.
Hier hört man den Straßenverkehr zum Glück fast gar nicht mehr. In Küche, Esszimmer und Co. hört man den ihn jedoch schon. Man sollte also nicht besonders lärmempfindlich sein wenn man hier wohnen möchte.

The room:
20m² room for 343€ a month*.
*(all costs included; so base rent, balcony, utilities, electricity, GEZ, telephone / internet, household insurance). The room will be furnished.
The room is very bright, spacious and nice sunny in the afternoon.
About the apartment:
An absolute plus is the spacious balcony (west side), which offers many hours of lovely sun in the afternoon and is available for everyone, even if access is 'only' possible through two rooms. On the balcony we have made it comfortable with some seating, a raised plant bed and generally many plants. It is a super nice place to chill, drink a beer and receive visitors :)
Not only the balcony, the entire apartment is very spacious with its 135 m². The kitchen was installed by ourselves and offers enough space to let off steam with cooking, baking, canning or other kitchen activities. The kitchen is currently equipped with two refrigerators, dishwasher, oven and other appliances. Attached to the kitchen we have a nice dining room, which also has plenty of storage space for food. As another social space we have a living room with a huge pull-out couch, which is very suitable for joint movie nights or even if visitors stay overnight.
We have both a bathroom (including washing machine) and a separate toilet, which is very convenient in a shared apartment. We also have two small closets in the attic of the house, where we can store some odds and ends. You can store your bike in the bike cellar.
The only disadvantage of the apartment is that it is located on a two-lane main road. However, all bedrooms (including the offered room) and the balcony are on the much quieter west side of the apartment. Here, fortunately, you can almost not hear the road traffic at all. In the kitchen, dining room and Co. you can hear the street a bit, however. So you should not be particularly sensitive to noise if you want to live here.
Wir wohnen in Bonn-Beuel, das ist auf der “anderen” (aber pssst, schöneren Rheinseite :) Warum schöner? Beuel ist Grün und Beuel hat die Abendsonne. Außerdem hat man hier in Beuel alle möglichen Einkaufsoptionen: von Aldi, über Alnatura, dm, Edeka, Netto, REWE. Auch Trinkgut und Bauhaus sind nicht weit. Unsere Lieblinge sind jedoch der Momo, ein unglaublich toller Bioladen der direkt bei uns um die Ecke ist, ein Unverpacktladen und eine Bäckerei die noch alles von Hand selber macht. Samstag vormittags gibt es auch einen schönen, kleinen Wochenmarkt auf dem Beueler Rathausplatz.
Freizeit/Kultur-mäßig hat Beuel auch etwas zu bieten: es gibt zwei Kinos, die Brotfabrik (gleichzeitig Arthouse Kino / Theater / Kulturkneipe) sowie die Neue Filmbühne. Es gibt zahlreiche tolle Cafés und Restaurants und die beste neapolitanische Pizza der Stadt gibt es hier in Beuel bei Spaccanapoli. Der Mini-Strand am Rhein und das süße Rheinufer Büdchen Miss Minz wo man Kaffee, Kuchen und andere Leckereien bekommt, sind nur ca. 5 Gehminuten von der Wohnung entfernt - super für Home-Office Mittagspausen oder das Feierabendbier :)
Bus und Bahn starten vom Konrad-Adenauer-Platz (ebenfalls ca. 5 Gehminuten) und bieten eine super Anbindung Richtung Bonn Innenstadt, Bonn Hbf, UN-Campus, Siegburg etc.. In der Innenstadt ist man auch in 10 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad.
Bonn-Beuel hat außerdem einen eigenen Bahnhof (ca. 10 Gehminuten), von dem man super nach Köln oder zum Köln/Bonner Flughafen fahren kann.

We live in Bonn-Beuel, which is on the "other" (but pssst, nicer) side of the Rhine :) Why nicer? Beuel is green and Beuel has the evening sun. Also, you have all kinds of shopping options here in Beuel: from Aldi, to Alnatura, dm, Edeka, REWE. Our favorite, however, is Momo, an incredibly great organic food store that is right around the corner from us, a no-package store, and a bakery that still makes everything by hand. On Saturday mornings, there is also a nice little weekly market on Beuel's Rathausplatz .Trinkgut and Bauhaus are also not far away.
In terms of leisure/culture, Beuel also has something to offer: there are two cinemas, the Brotfabrik (simultaneously an arthouse cinema/theater/cultural pub) and the Neue Filmbühne. There are numerous great cafés and restaurants and the best Neapolitan pizza in town can be found here in Beuel at Spaccanapoli. The mini-beach on the Rhine and the cute Miss Minz cafe is where you can get coffee, cake and other treats are only about 5 minutes walk from the apartment - great for home office lunch breaks or the after work beer :)
Bused and trains can be found at Konrad-Adenauer-Platz (also about 5 minutes walk) and offer a super connection towards Bonn city center, Bonn Hbf, UN-Campus, Siegburg etc.... You can also reach the city center in 10 minutes by bike.
Bonn-Beuel also has its own train station (about 10 minutes walk), from which you can travel to Cologne or the Cologne/Bonn airport.
Manu sowie Vitor, Charriz and Yash. Derzeit wird Vitors Zimmer frei sein, weil er seine Familie in Brasilien besuchen wird.
Abends sitzen wir gerne entweder beim Essen oder mit nem Bierchen/Vino zusammen oder machen auch schon mal am Wochenende etwas zusammen. Gleichzeitig macht jeder aber auch gerne sein eigenes Ding.
Und das sind wir:
Manu (35), lebt seit 5 Jahren in der WG und arbeitet hauptberuflich an einem Forschungsinstitut in Bonn. Dank seiner amerikanisch-mexikanischen Wurzeln führen seine Kochkünste regelmäßig in das Reich der Tacos & Chilis - bisher gab es noch nichts, was nicht gut, aber scharf war! In seiner Freizeit liest er Bücher, schaut Filme, geht tauchen, joggt und lernt Posaune.
Charriz (29) kommt von den Philippinen. Sie wird im September eine neue Stelle im Marketing antreten, genießt derzeit ihren freien Sommer, und schreibt ihre Masterarbeit. In ihrer Freizeit lernt sie Deutsch, geht gerne ins Fitnessstudio, schaut sich die Formel 1 an, trinkt leckeres Craft-Bier und kocht fantastische Pastagerichte.
Yash (20) kommt aus Indien und lernt in Vollzeit Deutsch. Er plant, nach Erreichen von C2 einen Bachelor in Informatik zu absolvieren. Er liebt es, kochen zu lernen und sich nachmittags auf ein Bier zu treffen.
Und jetzt zu dir:
Wen wir suchen: eine offene, respektvolle und gesellige Person, die Lust auf ein lockeres, eher freundschaftliches WG-Leben hat. Da Manuel und Charriz beide Vollzeit arbeiten und einen geregelten Tagesablauf haben suchen wir idealerweise jemanden der/die auch schon berufstätig oder zumindest im Masterstudium ist.
Last but not least: wir haben einen Putzplan, den wir (halbwegs) ernst nehmen und hätten auch gerne, dass das in der neuen WG-Konstellation so bleibt – als Putzteufel bezeichnen wir uns allerdings nicht :)

Manu as well as Vitor, Charriz, and Yash are living in the WG. Currently Vitor's room will be vacant because he will be visiting family in Brazil.
In the evenings we like to sit together either at dinner or with a beer/vino or even do something together on the weekend. But at the same time everybody likes to do his own thing.
And this is us:
Manu (35), has been living in the WG for 5 years and works full time at a research institute in Bonn. Thanks to his American-Mexican roots, his cooking skills regularly take us into the realm of tacos & chilis - so far there has been nothing that wasn't good, but spicy! He likes to fill his time with reading books, watching movies, scuba diving, jogging, and learning the trombone.
Charriz (29) comes from the Philippines. She will start a new marketing job in September and is currently enjoying her summer, and writing her Masters thesis. In her free time, she is learning German, likes to hit the gym, watch F1, sample delicious craft beer, and cook amazing pasta dishes.
Yash (20) comes from India and is learning German full time. He plans to pursue a bachelor's degree in computer science after achieving C2. He loves learning to cook and meeting for a beer in the afternoon.
And now over to you:
Who we are looking for: an open, respectful and sociable person who is up for a casual, rather friendly WG life. Since Manuel and Charriz both work full time and have a regular daily routine, we are ideally looking for someone who is already working or at least studying for a master's degree.
In addition (but not a requirement), we are looking for someone who could imagine taking over the main tenancy in the course of time. Eventually (but not very soon) the time will come when Nathalie and Manu will also move out.
Last but not least: we have a cleaning schedule that we take (halfway) seriously and would like it to stay that way in the new shared flat constellation - but we don't call ourselves cleaning devils :)
