The room is very well lit, it bathes in Sunlight every morning. The window in the room is extremely big, and therefore a light of the light comes in.
Even though the apartment is extremely central ( next to the Mangal Kebab place ) the windows are voice insulating, and the room is very quiet and peaceful.
The total size of the room is 13 meters squared, so quite large and can fit a couch, double bed, a desk, and a tv/couch or which ever furniture you desire. :)
The location cannot be any better ! It's Poststraße 18, in front of the Bluespendezentrum and the Bahnhof Apotheke. Everything is so close by!
Aldi, Aldi, & DM: 1 minute
Train and Bus Station : 1 minute
Beethoven square : 1 minute
Rewe, TK Max, and Mediamarkt : 5 minutes.
Everything is close by, all Cafés, Hofgarten, Poppelsdorf's garden, the Rhine river -- all you can think of. The location is by far one of the - if not the - best things about this flat.
The WG life is very chill and peaceful.
I am Yassir, 24 years old and I work with DHL Supply Chain. Asif, my flatmate, is 27 and he works with DHL Express. We work from home time to time, and go to the office at other times.
We both like to cook very much, therefore you will be treated to different dishes if you move in with us :) and if you like cooking, then even better ! We like to get together for spontaneous kitchen-talks or entirely cook something together. So if you are a social butterfly, you won't feel alone. Nevertheless, if you want your own space, then you will have it. We all sometimes need peace, quiet, and some alone time. :)
Aside from cooking, I enjoy interesting discussions about politics, theology, philosophy, or just whatever topic we have for the day. I also like to sketch, play games, and ping pong. I speak 5 languages, so if you're a language nerd (like me) we're gonna have a lot of fun!
Asif is a big sports guy - if you are into football, he is definitely the guy you want to grab a beer with ! He also is a big fan of cricket, and follows it very closely. Apart from just watching, he also loves to get moving and play some football! If you're into it, he's always looking for extra players.
Our general ambiance is very peaceful and quiet. We give heads-ups to each other when we want to organize something, but we're all very respectful and very considerate -- if something bothers you, just speak up ! :)
As we have a dishwasher and washing machine, we don't have to worry about a sink full of dishes or going to an external wash machine service, so all your needs are fulfilled within the flat. If you've read this far, tell me which is your favorite type of music and/or movie genre ;)
