The room lies in a 3-room WG. It is 20 sq meters in area and it has 3 large windows which make it really comfortable to live. It has wooden flooring and perfectly working heaters for cold days. The windows have metal shades that give you absolute darkness if you don't like to wake up with the sun.
The kitchen is well equipped and has most of the things one would generally need in day to day cooking. It also has sufficient space to keep stuff for 3 people although not really good to host a grand party (but we have big rooms to do that ;))
Regarding furniture, I am willing to sell a cupboard and shelf for a practical price that can be discussed in person. The remaining furniture should be arranged by you.
Our apartment is in a perfect location! The nearest bus and tram stop is Rosental which is very well connected by buses and trams. One can walk there in 3-5 minutes. Another nearby bus stop is Nordstraße and it can be reached in 5-7 minutes on foot.
There are plenty of supermarkets around, the nearest ones are Aldi (3-5 minutes), Rewe (5-7 minutes) and some distant ones include Penny and Lidl. We have some cool restaurants and falafel shops nearby to help you with instant hunger or with the laziness towards cooking. :D
The apartment is well involved with the city life, meaning, there are many pubs in the vicinity. One can also walk here from the train-station any time as it is just 1.4 km, making the place ideally reachable.
The apartment is on the first floor and is accompanied by friendly neighbors who are always willing to receive your packages when there's no one to receive them at home.
We are currently 3 flatmates Manju (28), Johannes (22) and Rajat (25) enjoying our lives in our amazing home. Sadly, Johannes will be leaving us in February, therefore, we are looking for another fun & friendly roommate to fill his place.
Manju and I (Rajat) are working as scientists at Fraunhofer FHR. We are mostly working during the weekdays and our small kitchen is generally the place for fun talks. The weekends are generally a little happening, we occasionally have some friends in the house and we would watch some movies, have great food and drinks.
As we both are more comfortable in English than in German, we would really prefer someone who can speak good German & English so we will have some help in understanding the formal stuff related to the house.
If you have any questions or if you are interested in the room please send us a message here and we can arrange a virtual/live meeting depending on the situation. Please write a description of yourself so we can understand you better.
Cheers!
Rajat & Manju
