Hi all,
Since I have to move back to US to continue my studies, there is a room available in our 3-room flat in Duisdorf which is just 9 minutes away from Bonn HBF by train. The room is cozy and fully furnished with king size bed. The big window provides a lot of sunlight in the room. The rent is 320€ and includes electricity, internet, and all other utilities.Additionally, there is a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and a bathtub, The open area behind the house is super inviting for chilling on warm days (which we do sometimes).
There’s a bus stop literally 1 minute walk from the house and since it's the Duisdorf main station there are buses and trains every 5 minutes to Bonn HBF. There is Penny right around the corner (3 minutes walk) and is open till 21:30 Monday through Saturday. The center is around 7 minutes away by walk and a lot of shops, restaurants, bakeries, cafés, supermarkets and parks are around the corner. It’s very convenient for living and just 15 minutes away from University by train.
The flat is super easy-going and living here is quite simple. Dominik (German) and Cecile (Chinese) are both students. They are both in there mid 20s, and very laid back. We like having a few drinks together in the flat, listening to music and often meet each other in the kitchen and talk about life, the universe and everything. That being said, you can also easily find peace and quiet when you want.
This flat is now our home, and we like to keep finding new things to make it look nice! We’re often adding new things and keep it at a non-disgusting level all the time. Hope to find someone who will also give the flat some loving.
The flat is equipped with a nice kitchen, an oven, a microwave and all sorts of kitchen thingies. The bathroom is spacious and has a bathtub. There’s also a basement with some space for your spare crap. The building is quite nice and has very a nice looking back yards.
