Großes Altbauzimmer in Poppelsdorf

Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße in Poppelsdorf. Zur Buslinie 600 läuft man nur ca. 2 min, die Innenstadt und der Hauptbahnhof sind in ca. 20 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Verschiedene Supermärkte (Edeka, Rewe, Netto, dm, Bioladen) und Bäckereien sind in direkter Nähe. Die Lage bietet sich vor allem für Studierende der naturwissenschaftlichen Fakultäten an, da die Unigebäude ebenfalls schnell zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Trotz der zentralen Lage läuft man nur 5 min zu einem Wald, in dem man schön spazieren gehen kann. Der Botanische Garten ist ebenfalls in der Nähe.

The house is situated in a quiet side street in Poppelsdorf. It is a short two-minute walk to bus route 600; the city center and the main train station are reachable by foot in about twenty minutes. Various supermarkets (Edeka, Rewe, Netto), a drugstore (dm) and two organic food stores are in close proximity; so are different bakeries. This location is particularly convenient for students of the natural science faculties since the university buildings are also within easy walking distance. Despite the central location, it’s just a five-minute walk to a forest where you can enjoy a nice stroll. The botanical garden is also close by.

Wir sind Bo und Milan, sind ein queeres Paar, und wohnen seit 1,5 Jahren in der Wohnung. Unsere Mitbewohnerin zieht zum 1. April aus, und wir suchen jemand neues :) Wir studieren beide an der Uni Bonn: Milan studiert Pflanzenwissenschaften, und Bo studiert English Studies. Wir sind beide sportlich und viel unterwegs (bouldern, wandern, Rad fahren), aber verbringen auch gern mal Zeit vor der Playstation im gemeinsamen Wohnzimmer. Außerdem kochen wir beide oft und essen überwiegend vegan. Wir sind zwar keine Party-WG, aber haben gerne mal Freunde für einen Spieleabend zu Besuch.
Wir wünschen uns keine Zweck-WG, aber es ist uns wichtig dass sich jeder auch mal zurückziehen kann. Außerdem ist es uns sehr wichtig, dass du mithilfst, die gemeinsamen Räume sauber und ordentlich zu halten. Bisher hatten wir immer einen Putzplan, und würden das wahrscheinlich so beibehalten. Ansonsten freuen wir uns, wenn wir uns gut verstehen und auch mal was zusammen unternehmen.

We’re Bo and Milan, a queer couple, and have been living in this apartment for one and a half years. Our flat mate is moving out on April 1st, and we’re looking for someone new. :) Both of us are studying at the University of Bonn: Milan is studying Plant Sciences, Bo is doing English Studies. We’re both physically active and enjoy activities such as bouldering, hiking and biking, however, we also spend some time in the living in front of the PlayStation. Moreover, we cook often, and mostly eat vegan. While we are not a “party household”, we do enjoy having friends over for a movie/game night.
We are not looking for a purely functional flat share, but it is important to us that everyone can have their own space when needed. Also, we place a lot of value in having a clean and tidy space, thus we expect you to keep the communal areas in an acceptable state. So far, we’ve had a cleaning schedule, and will likely continue this practice. Otherwise, we are excited to get along and do things together from time to time.

Zur Wohnung gehört ein großes Kellerabteil, welches du mitbenutzen kannst. Außerdem gibt es einen großen Fahrradkeller und einen kleinen Garten, sowie eine Waschmaschine, welche wir uns mit den Nachbarn teilen. Die Nachbarn sind alle nett und unkompliziert, allerdings sollte man nachts nicht laut sein da es sehr hellhörig ist.
Die 555€ warm sind bereits inklusive Strom, Gas, Wasser und WLAN. Nur an den Rundfunkgebühren müsstest du dich beteiligen, falls du nicht davon befreit bist, sowie gemeinschaftliche Ausgaben (Klopapier, Spülmittel, etc.).

Erzähl gerne schon mal, was du so machst (Arbeit, Studium, Hobbies etc.), und wenn du uns sympathisch bist, laden wir dich mal zur Besichtigung und zum Kennenlernen ein. Wir sind ab jetzt eine Woche im Urlaub, also kann es mit Antworten ggf. kurz dauern.


The apartment included a large cellar compartment, which you can also use. Additionally, there is a spacious bicycle storage area and a small garden, as well as a washing machine that we share with the neighbours. The neighbours are all friendly and easy-going, but it is important not to be too noisy at night, as the walls are quite thin.
The rent of 555€ pre month includes all utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and Wi-Fi. You only need to contribute to the broadcasting fees if you’re not exempt from them, as well as communal expenses such as toilet paper, detergent, etc.
