Zimmer im Studentenwohnheim Weststadt - Alles da außer Zahnbürste

Das Wohnheim ist ein heller und sauberer Neubau und liegt am Eingang zur Weststadt, Tramlinien m3 und m5 fahren in kurzen Abständen direkt vor der Tür. Das Schloss ist so in 10 min. erreicht, der Hauptcampus in 15. Zur HBK oder ins Jollytime läuft man keine 10 min. Eine Tankstelle grenzt an, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten liegen 3min zu Fuss oder 1 Tramstation entfernt (Bäcker, Lidl, Rossmann, Getränkemarkt), eine weitere Station bis zum nächsten Einkaufszentrum mit Rewe, Post etc. Parkplatz und Unterstand für Fahrräder befinden sich unmittelbar vor der Tür, die nächste Autobahnauffahrt ist ca. 300m entfernt.

The building is a bright, clean and new. Situated at the entrance of Braunschweig Weststadt, tramlines M3 and M5 run every few minutes right outside the door and take you to the city centre in about 10 minutes, to the maincampus in 15. HBK and Jollyjoker (Disco) are less than 10 min walk away. Shopping facilities can be reached in 3. Parkinglot and bycicle stand are also right outside.

Momentan teile ich die WG mit zwei sehr ruhigen Austauschstudenten aus China. Kontakte lassen sich in der Wohnheim eigenen Bar oder im Laundryroom aber schnell knüpfen. Es gibt zwei Bäder und eine recht große und gut ausgestattete Küche. Die gemeinschaftsbereiche werden wöchentlich von einer Reinigungskraft geputzt. Die große Wiese in der Mitte des Komplexes wird gerne für sportliche Aktivitäten genutzt.

Currently I share the appartment with two very silent but welcoming chinese exchange students. Friends can easily be made in the bar that belongs to the dormitory. The appartment has two bathrooms and a big kitchen. The common rooms are cleaned weekly by a maid. The huge meadow in the middle of the complex are often used for sports or barbeques.

Da das Zimmer im EG mit Blick zum Hof liegt ist es bei geöffneten Vorhängen und heller Beleuchtung recht leicht einzusehen. Allerdings kommt auch bei geschlossenen Vorhängen ausreichend Tageslicht durch so dass die Privatsphäre nicht wirklich leidet. Durch das große Bett ist das Zimmer theoretisch auch für zwei Personen bewohnbar. Das Wohnheim bietet Ruhe zum Lernen und Entspannen sowie Möglichkeiten zum geselligen Zusammensein oder auch mal zum Feiern. Ansonsten ist alles vorhanden, nur das Internet läuft noch über LAN-Kabel, das reicht aber durch das gesamte Zimmer. Im Zweifelsfall eben einfach nen Router mitbringen. Beim Ein-/Auszugsdatum bin ich recht flexibel, bei Interesse schick mir einfach eine kurze Mail...

Since the room is on the groundfloor, the few passers-by may try to take a look. However, even when the courtains are closed there is enough daylight so privacy does not really suffer. Because of the big bed the room could also host two persons. The condominium is silent enough to learn and relax but also has the facilities for nice get-togethers and parties. It provides everything needed, only the internet is still not wireless, but the wire reaches throughout the room and you could also bring your own router if you like.
I'm also quite flexible concerning the move-in and -out dates, but i would prefer someone who stays at least for 6 weeks. If you are interested just send me a mail...
