Das Zimmer liegt im 2. Stock eines kleinen Findorffer Hauses. Es ist 20m2 groß und durch die 3 großen Fenster super hell. Es ist sehr gemütlich und durch das viele Licht wirkt es warm und einladend! Das Zimmer ist durch einen Torbogen ein bisschen aufgeteilt (siehe Bilder), sodass du dir in dem kleineren Teil des Zimmers ein kleines gemütliches Schlafzimmer einrichten könntest. Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen, dass so ein wenig Wohnen und Arbeiten vom Schlafen getrennt werden konnte. Und obwohl das Zimmer zur Hemmstraße rausgeht, ist es angenehm ruhig!
Im Rest der Wohnung findest du eine kleine, aber feine Küche und 2 Bäder. Das eine Bad schließt direkt an das obere Zimmer an, weswegen Esteban und Melissa sich dieses teilen (die beiden wohnen die Treppe hoch). Du würdest dir das untere Bad mit Isabel teilen.
The room is on the 2nd floor of a small house in Findorff. Through the three big windows you have a lot of light in the 20qm room at any time. In my opinion the room is cozy and warm. Because of the layout of the room and archway you have an excellent opportunity to separate living/working space from your bedroom. At least that is what I did:). And even though the room faces directly Hemmstraße it is not loud at all.
In the rest of the flat you can find a small kitchen and two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is upstairs and shared by Melissa and Esteban (who live upstairs). The second one would be the one you would share with Isabel.
Die Wohnung liegt an der Hemmstraße, im Herzen Findorffs. Dadurch ist auch alles super schnell zu Fuß und noch schneller mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar! Die Haltestelle Lohmannstraße der Linie 25 ist in unter 3 Minuten erreichbar, die 28 zur Universität in 5 Minuten. Zum Einkaufen bei Penny oder Rewe brauchst du zu Fuß auch keine 5 Minuten und auch Netto und der wunderbare Findorffer Wochenmarkt sind innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Richtig gut ist auch, dass der Bürgerpark direkt um die Ecke ist. Innerhalb von 10 Minuten bist du da und hast eine geniale Möglichkeit der Stadt zu entfliehen, wenn du das denn möchtest!
The flat is in the center of Findorff, which is why everything is super close. The bus stop (25) Lohmannstraße is just 3 min away, the bus going to the university (28) only 5 min. Rewe, Penny etc. are also really close (5min) as well as the amazing Findorff farmers market (10 min)!
Something that is also perfect about the location of the flat is the fact that the Bürgerpark is right around the corner and offers you an easy way to escape city life, in case you want to do that. Of course, it is also amazing for going for a run!
Zusammenwohnen, zumindest für noch ein paar Monate, würdest du mit Isabel, Melissa und Esteban. Sie werden alle drei auch in der nächsten Zeit ausziehen, weswegen langfristig eine WG-Neugründung möglich ist!
Isabel studiert im Master Französisch und Geschichte. Du kannst dich jederzeit auf gute Lesetipps und auf einen entspannten Plausch bei einem Tee verlassen.
Melissa und Esteban wohnen zusammen in dem Zimmer, dass eine Etage weiter oben liegt. Die beiden sind ein lustiges, liebevolles Paar, mit dem man gut Spaß haben kann.
Melissa studiert Spanisch und Kulturwissenschaften, Esteban studiert in Hamburg im Master Wirtschaft.
Alle drei haben neben ihrem Studium auch noch Jobs, also sind manchmal alle super busy, aber das heißt nicht, dass es keine Möglichkeiten gibt Zeit zusammen zu verbringen, wenn ihr das alle wollt.
Wir hatten immer ein liebevolles Zusammenwohnen. Lange Abende mit lustigen, spannenden und auch politischen Gesprächen sind immer drin. Dabei ist es allen aber auch wichtig Zeit für sich zu haben, was aber bisher immer gut funktioniert hat.
You would be living with Isabel, Melissa and Esteban, at least for some time. They are all planning on moving out too, so there is the possibility of a new WG start in the long run.
Isabel is studying French and History in her master’s degree. She reads a lot, and you can be sure to get the best book recommendations from her! She is also always down for a relaxed talk with a cup of tea.
Melissa and Esteban are renting the room upstairs. They are a really sweet couple and always down to have fun. Melissa is studying Spanish and cultural studies in her bachelor’s degree. Esteban studies economics in Hamburg.
Apart from studying they all have jobs. So sometimes they all tend to get really busy, which does not mean there is no time to spend together.
We always had a loving and fun time together, with a lot of long nights with political discussions or random talks about everything and nothing! It is a really good mixture of being able to take your time for yourself but also spending time together!
