The room is about 16 square meters, has two large window (facing south-east). The kitchen is quite large and has a sofa in it. The washing machine and the fridge will stay in the flat for a small "Abschlag". The bathroom is relatively small but has a window. There is space for a wardrobe and other stuff in the hallway. A cellar compartment and bicycle cellar are also included.
The apartment is on the 1st floor, without an elevator.

Das Zimmer ist ca. 16 qm groß, hat zwei große Fenster zur Süd-Ost-Seite, es ist also sehr schön hell. Die Küche ist groß und hat ein Sofa.
Die Waschmaschine steht in der Küche und kann zusammen mit dem Kühlschrank für einen Abschlag übernommen werden. Das Bad ist relativ klein, hat dafür aber ein Fenster. Im Flur ist Platz für Garderobe und anderen Krams. Kellerabteil und Fahrradkeller sind auch vorhanden.
Die Wohnung liegt im 1. OG, ohne Fahrstuhl.

The apartment is located on the outskirts of Findorff and is quite close to Bremen main station. Nearby is a skate park, the exhibition halls and some event spaces. One street away is a Netto and an ALECO BioMarkt.
Die Wohnung liegt am Rand von Findorff und ist zwei Bahnstationen vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. In der Nähe ist ein Skatepark, die Messe Hallen und einige Kulturzentren. Eine Straße weiter ist ein Netto und ein ALECO BioMarkt.
I am moving out, so you would be living with Gurleen (24). We became friends while living together and I'm leaving her behind with a heavy heart. People say she is quite shy when they first meet her, though I never had that impression. We often sat in the kitchen together talking for hours about the world and everything in it, she is kind and funny and cooks really nice lentil dishes. Although we also hung out outside of the flat it was always possible to close the door and have time to ourselves (we both definitely need that sometimes with Uni and work and life stuff in general).
For what your possible flatmate life would look like you should just meet her and see the flat and go from there.
Gurleen does not speak German, but is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi.
The electricity bill and the wifi contract are both under my name. You then would need to get a new one or we could transfer the names. Also you would take the roll of the main tenant from me, the landlord is really friendly and already knows about the change. I roughly calculated the rent because we also paid the radio tax together, so it could change a bit but not a lot. Also I think the current Internet contract is rather expensive.
