Hello, everyone!
I would like to offer my room at Galileo Residenz from September 1st to October 31st. Please note that there is a high possibility of extending your stay/contract after that as well, if you like the room. It is open for discussion.
It's a 9-bedroom share, which means you have your own bedroom and bathroom and you share the kitchen with the flatmates
.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with refrigerator, freezer, microwave oven, electric stove + oven, toaster etc. and even pots, pans, dishes etc.
There is a laundry room equipped with washing machines and dryers as well as place to put drying-racks.
Very close to the main buildings of the university (approx. 2 minutes walking distance from the "Universität Zentralbereich" bus stop or a few minutes walk to the Universum).
Additionally, there's a restaurant on the corner of Galileo which is open 6 days a week and till 10:00 pm!! The food is great and it has lovely outdoor seating. So if you don't feel up for cooking after a long day at the university, just walk downstairs and grab a bite.
It's also close to the Unisee so ideal for a walk or taking the bicycle out to relax in your free time.
The bedrooms in the 9-bedroom apartment are arranged similar to hotel-rooms. So there's a common corridor with the bedrooms on either side. The rooms are separated enough to allow privacy but with a common area and kitchen that allows interaction with flatmates.
In my personal opinion, Galileo Residenz has one of the best environments to interact with people of similar age groups from different parts of the world at different walks in life. The staff are very friendly and helpful and speak both German and English.
