So I have a room in a huge house that I don't have to rent but want to so the room is available now and will be until I find the right person. I clicked on furnished because the room CAN be furnished but does not have to be. The rest of the house is fully furnished. There are two rooms to choose from both are around 15 sqm. Both have a lot of light.
The whole house has been renovated and has new windows, great insulation, etc. so I hardly ever really have to heat and there is virtually no noise from outside.
The house is located 1 minute from the Grasberger Strasse Haltestelle and 10 from the Moorstrasse or Altenescher Strasse. Netto, Nahkauf and Lidl are 5 minutes on foot and the Lindenhof center is 15 on foot. Waterfront is also about a 15 minute walk from here.
First, I am writing this in English not because I don't speak German (bin sogar Übersetzerin!) but due to the fact that I come from the United States (bin ausgewandert bevor they lost their damned minds!), the primary language spoken here in the house is English to keep us all active with our English language skills. The TV is always on in English, my friends all studied and speak English so... if you don't speak English, you won't have much fun here.
I also have 3 cats. All three are super social and loving so I would like someone who likes cats and will love on them when they come looking for it.
Several of my friends have keys to the house and are constantly dropping by so there are often people here just hanging out watching TV in the winter and hanging on the terrace in the summer. I am pretty much always here since I work at home.
I am not looking for a Zweck WG. I don't want a "roommate" who stores their stuff here and lives at their partner's nor do I want a third roommate who is a partner who is always around, forcing me to live with someone I didn't choose (not to say partners aren't welcome, but if they will be here a lot, bring them to the interview so I can meet them too!).
I am a professional, and I work at home, so I need a quiet roommate who respects (or LOVES) sleep and work as much as I do and can respect and tolerate the odd hours I keep due to my job (and his/her schedule will be respected by me too!).
It's a social place to live and you'll never be bored or lonely.
