In advance: for a bit of balance, we prefer a person who is not cis male. Our rental only wants students in the house, so that is a requirement to move in here.
340€ is the warm rent, including all the usual things like electricity, water, internet, garbage and so on.
The room is available from 15.08.23 until 30.11.23
The room is 12,3 m² and is going to be rented furnished. I will remove my clothes and most of my stuff, so that you can use the shelves and wardrobe, my speaker is also for your use. If you like to take care of plants, I will leave some of them in the room, otherwise they are moving in the living room.
It is a nice, bright and cosy room with a little dressing corner, from the bed you can see the sky.
Our shared flat is located quite centrally in the Neustadt of Bremen.
The next train station is just two minutes by foot, same as the "Hochschule Bremen".
By bike it's just five minutes to the city center or to the Lake (Werdersee) where you can go for a swim, about ten minutes to the "Viertel" and the main station, and about 25 minutes to the university.
In the Neustadt there are all the things people need, especially in terms of food. You find nice restaurants and different supermarkets in walking distance.
It is only a two minute walk down the street to our favorite bar, it is even at a late hour manageable :-)
There are five of us in our shared flat and we love living together!
Living here are Darius (studies sociology, likes to boulder), Joana (studies integrated design, likes techno and art), Mohammad (studies computer sciences, likes meeting people and coffee), Jens (works as an assistance for a disabled person, likes to talk about politics and activism) and Luisa (studies philosophy and sociology, likes to play squash). Luisa is leaving the place temporarily because she is doing in internship in Berlin.
We kept our description short, for the excitement of getting to know each other and to not drag this out, so we will get to know each other in person!
We live on two floors. Upstairs are four of the five rooms (also the one that could be yours) and the bathroom, fancy with a balcony. Thus it is upstairs mostly rather quiet, because most of the life takes place downstairs in the living room. We have a large and very cozy living and dining room, which compensates very well for the rather small kitchen. In the living room there is always someone to meet and get excited about a meal, beer, movie, coffee, walk or jump into the lake.
We like to share and we like to do activities together, mostly spontaneously. Popular are trips on the bike to the water, also sometimes doing something for education, demonstration visits, food (please write us your favorite kind of ice cream!), going to the pub, playing something and we like movie nights in the living room.
We are looking for a roommate with an open mind and a lot of desire to live and do something together. We are not a purpose-built flat-share and don't want to become one.
