Our beautiful WG on top of Kultur in Bunker needs a new flatmates from 01.03.2023. It is very spacious and bright house located in the heart of Viertel. Surrounded with greenery on one side and Osterdeich and Weser on the other side, the house has 3 levels with common kitchen and living room area with huge windows, 1 bathroom with toilet, as well as one smaller toilet, working area with 3 desks, storage room and 5 sleeping rooms. It also has a small garden on top of bunker roof, as well as couple of balconies.
Your room is approximately 9 square meters and furnished, but in case you have your furniture we could take the existing one out of the room. It is 305 euro pro month with all included. It is a subrent from 01.03. -01.09.2023 with possibility to extend.
There is five of us in the house, Armando, Bojana, Paria, Jonas and Mello. We are between 22 and 40 years old. Armando works as a product designer, Bojana as an UI/ graphic designer and a guest lecturer at HfK, Paria is enrolled in Cultural studies at Uni Bremen and works part time, Jonas studies art in Braunschweig and works for Verdi and Mello works as a language teacher and has a par-time job in Schaburg. In general everyone has a working rhythm and therefore needs some quiet and relaxed environment at home. We don’t normally do parties in our WG and everyone respects the need for silence, especially at night. We are very supportive of each other whenever someone has a problem or feels bad and needs someone to help or listen. We like to spend time together spontaneously rather than mandatory. Since there would be six of us living together it is important to keep the common area clean and orderly. We are very left wing oriented group of people. Clearly against racism, homophobia, misogyny and antisemitisms.
Kultur im bunker:
We are a project house with a collective running the Bunker downstairs. We sometimes organise concerts, talks, bar evenings, movie screenings or similar events.
In total there is around 15 people who are a part of Bunker collective but don’t live in our WG. We meet every Wednesday evening for plenum in our kitchen. The people that live in WG don’t need to take a part in every plenum or be very involved in organisation, but it is very hard that you are completely outside. When there are concerts or events there might be people cooking and eating in the kitchen. Performers also often sleep in our WG if there is room available. In general there’s no rule of how much you need to contribute for the project and it is normal to also take time to understand how it works and how much you can help. It is a very nice environment to get to know people and learn how to plan and organise a concert, or how to do live sound for example. We usually have around 3 to 4 events per month, and maybe 2-5 live concerts, normally on the weekend. The Bunker is open until 1am maximum, and live concerts happen until 10pm.
If you can imagine living with us feel free to write us a bit about yourself on this email.
