Dein Zimmer ist ca. 17qm groß und möbliert. Es ist durch eine große Fensterfront tagsüber schön lichtdurchflutet. Da wir im Erdgeschoss sind, ist es auch im Sommer angenehm :)
In der Wohnung befindet sich eine Waschmaschine, ein großer Backofen mit Mikrowellenfunktion und eine Spülmaschine. Wenn man durch die Küche durch geht, erreicht man einen überdachten Innenhof, welchen wir zu einem Wohnzimmer umgebaut haben. Selbst im Winter ist es hier angenehm. Hier kannst du deine Lieblingsserie schauen oder einfach ein bisschen entspannen.
Your room is approximately 17 square meters and fully furnished. It is beautifully bright during the day thanks to a large window front. Being on the ground floor, it remains pleasant even in the summer :)
Inside the apartment, there is a washing machine, a large oven with a microwave function, and a dishwasher. Passing through the kitchen, you'll reach a covered inner courtyard that we've transformed into a living room. It's comfortable even in winter, a perfect spot to watch your favorite series or simply relax.
Die Wohnung liegt nahe am Prinz-Emil-Garten, in dem wir uns gerne mit Freunden auf ein Bierchen treffen. Sowohl die Haltestelle Eschollbrücker Straße, als auch Prinz-Emil-Garten sind in ca. 2-3 min zu erreichen. Direkt um die Ecke ist der Getränkeladen Kolabri.
Zum Campus Stadtmitte wie auch zur Lichtwiese braucht man mit dem Fahrrad ca 10-15min.
The apartment is located near Prinz-Emil-Garten, where we often meet up with friends for a beer. Both the „Eschollbrücker Straße“ tram stop and „Prinz-Emil-Garten“ are reachable within about 2-3 minutes walking distance. There's also a beverage store called Kolabri just around the corner.
The Campus City Center and Lichtwiese are both about a 10-15 minutes bike ride away.
Deine zukünftigen Mitbewohner sind Emilia und Tim.
Emilia (21) studiert Online-Journalismus an der Hochschule Darmstadt im 3. Semester. Wenn Sie mal für sich ist, schreibt sie ihren nächsten Poetry Slam in ihre Notizbücher. Sie kocht auch sehr gerne, für und miteinander, jedoch immer vegetarisch.
Tim (24) studiert Umweltingenieurwissenschaften (im ersten Mastersemester) an der TU und arbeitet nebenbei als Werkstudent. Neben sportlichen Aktivitäten (wie z.B. bouldern, Radfahren oder Squash) ist er auch beim Kochen oder Heimwerken motiviert.
Beide sind super entspannt und sympathisch, du kommst mit ihnen direkt ins Gespräch. Sie machen am Wochenende gerne Ausflüge mit dem Fahrrad oder gehen auch mal zusammen feiern. Gerade in Coronazeiten hat es sich so entwickelt, dass wir eigentlich immer zusammen kochen und auch die Einkäufe teilen. Natürlich hat auch jeder seine Privatsphäre, wenn man mal Ruhe braucht.
Gerne kannst du auch mal deine Freunde mit nach Hause bringen und den Abend bei uns zusammen verbringen.
Im Haus wohnen insgesamt 3 Parteien, über uns eine nette 5er WG, mit denen wir gut befreundet sind und viel unternehmen.
Your future flatmates are Emilia and Tim.
Emilia (21) is in her 3rd semester studying Online Journalism at Hochschule Darmstadt. When she wants some alone time, she writes her next poetry slam. She enjoys cooking vegetarian dishes, especially together with her friends and flatmates
Tim (24) is in his first Master's semester studying Environmental Engineering at TU Darmstadt and works as a working student. Apart from sports activities like bouldering, cycling, or squash, he is also motivated when it comes to cooking and home improvement.
Both are relaxed and friendly, and you'll easily strike up a conversation with them. On weekends, they enjoy cycling trips or occasionally go out together for drinks and parties. During the pandemic, they started cooking together and sharing groceries. Of course, everyone respects each other's privacy when needed. You're welcome to bring your friends home and spend the evening together.
In the building, there are a total of 3 parties, including a friendly 5-person WG above us, with whom we're good friends and do a lot together.
