Das Zimmer ist etwa 20 Quadratmeter groß. Da es sich im obersten Stockwerk des Gebäudes befindet, hat es eine schräge Decke, wie du auf den Fotos sehen kannst. Es gibt zwei Fenster, durch die natürliches Licht einfällt, und beide haben Jalousien, die bei Bedarf für Privatsphäre und Dunkelheit sorgen. Das Zimmer hat auch einen maßgefertigten Kleiderschrank, in dem es mehr als genug Platz zum Aufhängen von Kleidung gibt. Außerdem gibt es einen kleinen Abstellraum, der sich perfekt für Kisten, Koffer oder andere große Gegenstände eignet, die du aus dem Weg räumen musst.
Für die Möbel, die du auf den Fotos siehst, bin ich bereit, einen fairen Preis zu verhandeln, denn ich habe praktisch alles in dem Haus, in das ich umziehe. Das Klavier, die Gitarre, den Monitor und die Matratze werde ich auf jeden Fall mitnehmen. Ich bin offen, die Schreibtisch, Stühle, Bett und andere Dinge zu verkaufen.
Die Wohnung ist insgesamt etwa 110 Quadratmeter groß und befindet sich im obersten Stockwerk (3. Stock). Die Wohnung hat zwei Etagen. Im ersten Stock befinden sich das Badezimmer, die Küche, das Wohnzimmer und eine kleine Abstellraum.
Das Badezimmer ist komplett ausgestattet. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine, ein Bügelbrett und ein Bügeleisen. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet mit Backofen, Cerankochfeld, Geschirrspüler, Kühl- und Gefrierschrank, Mikrowelle, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine sowie Geschirr, Besteck, Gläser, Pfannen, Töpfe usw.
Wie du auf den Fotos sehen kannst, ist die Küche zum Wohnzimmer hin offen, wo du das L-förmige Sofa, den Couchtisch, den Fernseher, den Esstisch und die Stühle findest. Die Tatsache, dass die Küche zum Wohnzimmer hin offen ist, sorgt für ein enormes Raumgefühl und ist perfekt, um Leute zum Essen einzuladen oder sich mit Freunden zu treffen.
Wenn du die Treppe nach oben nimmst, findest du einen sehr hellen Flur mit zwei Türen, die zu den beiden Schlafzimmern führen. Deines wäre das auf der rechten Seite.

The room is about 20 square metres. As it is on the top floor of the building, it has a sloping ceiling, as you can see in the photos. It has two windows through which natural light comes in, and both have blinds, giving privacy and darkness when necessary. The room also has a custom made wardrobe in which there is more than enough space to hang clothes. There is also a small storage room, perfect for boxes, suitcases, or other large objects that you need to keep out of the way. As for the furniture you see in the photos, I am willing to negotiate a fair price for them, as I have practically everything in the house I am moving to. The piano, the guitar, the monitor and the mattress I'll take them with me for sure. Desk, chairs, bed and other things are not for sure.
The flat is about 110 square meters in total, and is located on the top floor (3rd floor), consisting of two floors. On the first floor is the bathroom, the kitchen, the living room and a small pantry.
The bathroom is fully equipped. There is a washing machine, ironing board and iron at your disposal.
The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, stove, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, as well as crockery, cutlery, glasses, pans, pots and pans etc.
As you can see in the photos, the kitchen is open to the living room, where you will find the L-shaped sofa, coffee table, TV, dining table and chairs. The fact that the kitchen is open to the living room makes the feeling of spaciousness enormous, and it is perfect for inviting people over to enjoy a dinner or meeting with friends.
If you take the stairs upstairs, you will find a very bright landing with two doors leading to the two bedrooms. Yours would be the one on the right.

Die Wohnung liegt direkt neben dem Prinz Emil Garten, zwischen den Straßenbahnhaltestellen Prinz Emil Garten und Bessunger Straße, die weniger als 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt sind. Die Straßenbahnen 6, 7 und 8 bringen dich in 7 Minuten ins Stadtzentrum, oder die Straßenbahn 1, die dich in weniger als 10 Minuten zum Hauptbahnhof bringt. Wenn du es brauchst, ist der Südbahnhof auch nur 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.
Die Gegend ist eher ein Wohngebiet, aber Restaurants, Bars und Geschäfte sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Ganz in der Nähe liegt Alt Bessungen mit seinen netten Cafés und Plätzen und dem berühmten Orangeriepark. Falls du sportlich bist und gerne ins Fitnessstudio gehst, ist die Fitness Fabrik (in die ich zurzeit gehe) nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.
Eine Straßenbahnhaltestelle oder 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt gibt es einen Rewe. Außerdem gibt es einen Aldi in der gleichen Entfernung und einen Lidl, der etwa 15 Minuten entfernt ist.
Ich fand diese Lage toll, weil man hier die Ruhe eines Wohnviertels hat und weil sie so gut an das Zentrum und den Hbf angebunden ist, dass man im Handumdrehen dort ist, wo man hin muss.

The flat is located right next to Prinz Emil Garten, between the Prinz Emil Garten and Bessunger Strasse tram stops, which are less than 5 minutes away on foot, where trams 6, 7 and 8 take you to the city centre in 7 minutes (according to the app), or tram 1 which takes you to the Hauptbahnhof in less than 10 minutes. The area is fairly residential, but has restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. Close by is Alt Bessungen, which has nice cafés and squares, with its famous Orangerie park. If you are sporty and like to go to the gym, the Fitness Fabrik (where I currently go) is a 10 minute walk away. There is a Rewe one tram stop or 10 minutes walk away. Also an Aldi within the same walking distance or a Lidl about 15 minutes away.
I found this location great because it gives you the peace and quiet of a residential neighbourhood and because it is so well connected to the centre and the Hbf, you can be there in no time at all when you need to be.
In der Wohnung wohnt der lieber Jesús. Er ist schon ein alter Hase in Darmstadt, denn er kam vor fast 6 Jahren aus Spanien, um sein Erasmus im Bachelor, seinen Master zu machen. Er ist jetzt seinen Doktorand an der TU Darmstadt. Er ist eine sehr gesellige Person und hat Hobbys wie Freunde treffen, lesen, Fahrrad fahren oder im Wald spazieren gehen. Er kocht auch gerne, also wirst du ihn oft kochen und seine Experimente teilen sehen. Da er schon so lange hier ist, spricht er perfekt Deutsch und Englisch (und natürlich Spanisch), so dass du keine Verständigungsprobleme haben wirst.
Was das Zusammenleben angeht, so ist es ganz einfach, wenn nur zwei Leute in einem so großen Haus wohnen. Ihr werden perfekte Gemeinschaftsräume haben, die ihr gemeinsam nutzen könnt, und jeder von euch hat sein eigenes Zimmer, wenn ihr etwas Ruhe und Privatsphäre braucht. In den zwei Jahren, in denen ich mit Jesús zusammenlebe, hatte ich noch nie ein Problem mit ihm. Das Wichtigste ist, die Sachen klar zu sagen und mit Problemen (falls es welche gibt) im richtigen Moment und auf normale Weise umzugehen. Natürlich ist die Haushaltsführung wichtig. Wir haben es in diesem Jahr wirklich genossen, Freunde zum Essen einzuladen, Filme oder Serien zu schauen oder es auch mal ganz allein zu tun.

You will find the lovely Jesús living in the flat. He is already a veteran in Darmstadt, since he came from Spain almost 6 years ago to do his Erasmus in the Bachelor, his Master and now he is doing his PhD at the TU Darmstadt. He is a very sociable person and has hobbies such as meeting friends, reading, cycling or walking in the forest. He also likes cooking, so you will see him cooking a lot and sharing his experiments. As he has been here for so long, he speaks perfect German and English (and Spanish, of course), so you won't have any communication problems.
As for living together, being only two people in such a big house, it is easy. You have perfect common spaces to use between the two of you, and then you each have your own room for when you need some peace and quiet or privacy. I have never had a problem with Jesús in the two years I have lived with him. The most important thing is to say things clearly and deal with problems (if any) in the moment and in a normal way. Of course, housekeeping is important. We have really enjoyed this year inviting friends over for dinner, to watch movies or series, or even doing it all by ourselves.
