Ich verlasse nach Studienabschluss schweren Herzens meine WG in Kranichstein. Das freiwerdende Zimmer ist 26qm groß und ist aufgrund der zahlreichen Fenster sehr hell. Es können einige Möbelstücke übernommen werden (schwarze Ledercouch, Couchtisch aus Holz, siehe Fotos). Die WG - insgesamt 135qm - ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit Wasch und Spülmaschine, Haushaltsgeräten aller Art und einer sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche, mit z. B. Nudelmaschine und Pizzaofen (Beste Pizza überhaupt :) ). Es gibt unten eine Toilette sowie ein großes Familienbad auf der oberen Etage. Das Zimmer hat direkten Zugang zum Balkon der WG, oben gibt es zudem eine große Dachterrasse (genial bei schönem Wetter).
Sadly, I have to leave my roommates and Darmstadt now that my study time has come to an end. My room - 26 sqm - has many windows so there's always lots of light and enough space to spread your belongings. The flat with a total living space of 135 sqm is very well equipped including a dishwasher and a washing machine. Our kitchen boasts loads of machines and gadgets, e.g. a pasta machine and a highend portable pizza oven (best pizza ever!). There is a toilet on the ground floor and a large bathroom upstairs. Your room will have direct access to the balcony and we also have a large terrace on the rooftop.
Die WG befindet sich in einer modernen Familiensiedlung (Baujahr Mitte 2000er) direkt an der Tram-Haltestelle Borsdorffstraße. Man gelangt unter der Woche mit einer 7-Minuten-Taktung innerhalb von 10 Minuten an den Luisenplatz. Die Nachbarschaft ist nett und ruhig, mit vielen Berufstätigen und einigen Rentnern und Familien. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich fußläufig in 5 Minuten Entfernung (Lidl), oder 2 Tramhaltestellen weiter (Edeka, Penny).
The flat is located in a modern housing estate (construction around mid 2000's) directly next to the tram stop "Borsdorffstraße". On weekdays, you can take a tram every 7 minutes, which will take you to the city centre in 10 minutes. The neighborhood is very friendly and calm with mainly professionals, some families and retirees. Shopping food can be done on foot at Lidl's some 5 minutes away, or you can find Edeka and Penny two tram stops from our place.
Wir haben ein sehr nettes Zusammenleben in der WG, es handelt sich eindeutig nicht um eine reine Zweck-WG! Gerne wird ab und zu gemeinsam gekocht und gegessen und WG-Bier ist auch fast immer vorrätig. Außerdem gibt es gerade im Sommer regelmäßig Pizzaparties mit dem WG-Pizzaofen oder Grillfeste auf der Dachterrasse mit Freunden der WG. Letztere besitzt an heißen Tagen das Upgrade "Pool" (Riesen-Planschbecken), welcher schwülheiße Tage zum reinsten Vergnügen macht. Bei allem Spaß zusammen wird Rücksicht trotzdem groß geschrieben und jeder kann seinen Studien und Hobbies ungestört nachgehen. Die WG wird von allen gemeinsam sauber gehalten, was mit unserem modernen und ausgeklügelten Putzplan sehr gut funktioniert. Unter der Woche wird abends viel Sport von den Mitbewohnern betrieben, aber leer wird die WG selbst am Wochenende sehr selten. Spaß und ein tolles Zusammenleben ist daher garantiert!
Also: Viel Spaß mit meinen tollen Mitbewohnern in einer sehr coolen Wohnung ;)
Our daily life together is very enjoyable and we definitely do not share our flat as a simple matter of saving money. The german "WG" means "living community", a principle we very much prefer over "sharing a flat". We cook and enjoy our meals together occasionally and some bottles of beer are always in stock to be enjoyed together. BBQs and pizza parties are hosted regularly with friends of the WG and simply guarantee having a good time. As an upgrade for our roof terrace, we have an inflatable 2x2m pool, making it a paradise on hot and humid days :) Having fun together is one thing, but living together also demands a certain degree of consideration and respect for each other. This is definitely the case in our WG, leaving everyone the possibility to study or sleep undisturbed when needed. The flat is kept tidy and clean by everyone, supported by our sophisticated cleaning plan.Throughout the week, your roommates will probably often be out for sports in the evening, but on weekends the flat is rarely abandoned by everyone. Usually, you will have a great time together!

Uns würde interessieren, wie alt ihr seid, welche Hobbies ihr habt und wie ihr euch ein gemeinschaftliches Leben in einer WG vorstellt :) Es folgen bald weitere Bilder von den restlichen Räumen der WG!
