Cosy room in nice WG in Dresden-Plauen Gemütliches Zimmer in netter WG in Dresden-Plauen

Our apartment is located in Plauen district in the south of Dresden. By bike it is not far to university (about 10 min to Fritz-Förster-Platz, 15 min to SLUB). A bakery, pharmacy, fruit and vegetable shops, asparagus, ice cream parlour, (thousand) hairdressers and all kinds of food to go are right in front of the front door. In addition, there is an Indian restaurant in the immediate vicinity, which is always happy with our palate (also with a very large selection of vegetarian and vegan food!!)

The nearest bus stop with bus lines 62, 63 and 85 as well as the Plauen S-Bahn station are just a stone's throw away. The next tram (line 3) takes about 10 minutes on foot.

So if you want to get out of prunes to celebrate in the new town or something else, you're super tied up. In addition, the 62 is a good-night line, which also helps us to get home quickly and safely at a later hour.

We also have the beautiful park "Am hoch Stein", from which you have a super view over Dresden and where you can forget the city life in a relaxed way.

Unsere Wohnung liegt im Stadtteil Plauen im Süden Dresdens. Mit dem Fahrrad ist es nicht weit zur Uni (ca. 10 min zum Fritz-Förster-Platz, 15 min zur SLUB). Eine Bäckerei, Apotheke, Obst- und Gemüseläden, Sparkasse, Eisdiele, (tausend) Friseurläden und allerhand Möglichkeiten Essen zu gehen sind direkt vor der Haustür. Außerdem befindet sich ein indisches Restaurant in unmittelbarer Nähe, welches ab und an unseren Gaumen beglückt (auch mit sehr großer Auswahl an vegetarischem und veganem Essen!!)

Sowohl die nächste Bushaltestelle mit den Buslinien 62, 63 und 85 als auch der S-Bahnhof Plauen sind nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. Zur nächsten Tram (Linie 3) benötigt man etwa 10 min zu Fuß.

Möchte man also mal aus Plauen abhauen, um in der Neustadt feiern zu gehen oder sonst was, ist man super angebunden. Außerdem ist die 62 eine Gute-Nacht-Linie, welche auch uns des Öfteren dabei hilft zu später Stunde schnell und sicher nach Hause zu kommen.

Des Weiteren haben wir ganz in der Nähe den wunderschönen Park "Am hohen Stein", von dem man einen super Blick über Dresden hat und wo man ganz entspannt das Stadtleben vergessen kann.

We are Paula, Alina, Niko and Caro! Our WG life has so far been a mixture of joint activities, a lot of kitchen psychology and a friendly coexistence! That is why we attach great importance to the fact that it will continue in the future!
Caro is now moving out and Niko is planning to move out soon, as both no longer want to study and now want to stand firm in life. This leaves us two students and is looking for someone to complete our WG, starting with Caros' room!

Now a few words to us:

Paula is a very creative, tidy and open minded person with a preference for cooking! That's why they often meet a little chat in the kitchen. She studies social education in the 2nd semester, is also quite new in Dresden and in the WG. Nevertheless, she has already enjoyed herself and enjoys the one or the other walk through the beautiful plum or is looking forward to company with a tip in the courtyard. Museums, concerts and cafes are also places where Paula is often found.

Now we come to Alina. She is a humorous, open person with whom you just like to spend time and who always has a cowardly Spotify playlist in stock! She is a teacher and has been living in Dresden for a long time. The university is preferably busy at night, so it is usually not to be found before 12 o'clock. Otherwise she likes to go outside and is therefore always ready to go with you to the next party or demo. Besides, she always has an open ear for the latest gossip.

The Niko is simply a relaxed type that is always ready to help and have for good yapping sessions! It is the rock in the fire of the WG and leads an impressive lifestyle consisting of early uprising and structured daily routines, partly due to its work. Nevertheless, he also manages to go to the gym and is happy to meet friends in the new city on the weekend.

Whether joint celebrations, games/film evenings or karaoke sessions outside - we like to spend time together and with friends:)
If you don't want to get out, our cozy living room and our kitchen are ideal for spending time. Nonetheless, every person needs time for himself and that takes each one of us.

Wir sind Paula, Alina, Niko und Caro! Unser WG-Leben war bisher eine Mischung aus gemeinsamen Aktivitäten, viel Küchenpsychologie und einem freundschaftlichem Miteinander! Deswegen legen wir viel Wert darauf, dass es auch in Zukunft so bleibt! :)
Caro zieht nun aus und auch Niko plant bald auszuziehen, da beide nicht mehr studieren und nun fest im Leben stehen wollen. Damit bleiben wir zwei Studentinnen übrig und suchen jemanden, der/die unsere WG wieder komplett macht, angefangen mit Caros Zimmer!

Nun ein paar Wörtchen zu uns:

Paula ist eine sehr kreative, ordentliche und aufgeschlossene Person mit einer Vorliebe zum Kochen! Deswegen trifft man sie oft zu einem Pläuschchen in der Küche an. Sie studiert Sozialpädagogik im 2. Semester, ist damit auch noch recht neu in Dresden und in der WG. Trotzdem hat sie sich schon super eingelebt und genießt auch mal den einen oder anderen Spaziergang durch das schöne Plauen oder freut sich über Gesellschaft bei einem Kippchen im Innenhof. Museen, Konzerte und Cafes sind ebenfalls Orte, wo die Paula häufig anzutreffen ist.

Nun kommen wir zur Alina. Sie ist eine humorvolle, offene Person, mit der man einfach gerne Zeit verbringt und die immer eine fetzige Spotify-Playlist auf Lager hat! Sie studiert Lehramt und wohnt schon länger in Dresden. Mit der Uni beschäftigt sie sich vorzugsweise in der Nacht, daher ist sie meistens nicht vor 12 Uhr anzutreffen. Sonst treibt sie sich gerne draußen rum und ist deshalb allzeit bereit mit dir auf die nächste Party oder Demo zu gehen. Außerdem hat sie immer ein offenes Ohr für den neusten Gossip.

Der Niko ist einfach ein entspannter Typ, der immer bereit ist zu helfen und für gute yapping Sessions zu haben ist! Er ist der Fels in der Brandung der WG und führt einen beeindruckenden Lebensstil, der aus frühem Aufstehen und strukturierten Tagesabläufen besteht, zum Teil auch seiner Arbeit geschuldet. Trotzdem schafft er es auch noch ins Gym zu gehen und trfft sich am Wochenende gerne mit Freund*innen in der Neustadt.

Ob gemeinsames Feiern, Spiele/Filmabende oder Karaokesessions außerhalb - wir verbringen gerne Zeit miteinander und mit Freund*innen :)
Wenn man mal nicht raus möchte, bieten sich unser gemütliches Wohnzimmer und unsere Küche bestens zum Zeitverbringen an. Nichtsdestotrotz braucht jede Person mal Zeit für sich und die nimmt sich auch jede*r von uns.

The 10 Euro "Other Costs" are a monthly contribution to our WG account. For this we buy food that everyone uses (potatoes, oil, coffee, etc.), but the money also serves as a reserve if something in the apartment gives up the mind.

We don't have a basement, but we have an attic. The "bicycle cellar" is not a basement in this sense, rather a bicycle shed, but can be closed.

Die 10 Euro "Sonstige Kosten" sind ein monatlicher Beitrag in unser WG-Konto. Dafür kaufen wir Nahrungsmittel, die jeder nutzt (Kartoffeln, Öl, Kaffee usw.), aber das Geld dient auch als Rücklage, falls mal etwas in der Wohnung den Geist aufgibt.

Wir haben zwar keinen Keller, dafür aber einen Dachboden. Der "Fahrradkeller" ist kein Keller in diesem Sinne, eher ein Fahrradschuppen, der jedoch abschließbar ist.
