Hello there!
My flatmate and me are looking for someone to take my room from May 1st. My room, that's actually 2 rooms: a bigger and a smaller one with high 'Altbau' ceilings.
Since you will be moving in with him - a short introduction by him:
I’m Florian and have moved to Düsseldorf to work there as a management consultant. I’m looking for a fun person to share a flat with.
I’m pretty sociable so even though I will be quite busy during the week, I would always be up for doing things at the week-end. From
cooking with friends, to going out (I’m a big fan of Latin music) or doing sports (my favorite ones are volleyball or surfing/sailing) I’m in for anything active. Other hobbies of mine are Improvisation Theater and debating whenever I have time. I also enjoy travelling and I have spent several years living in the UK, France and Latin America. Thus, whoever you are and whatever your nationality, no worries, I’m sure we will get along!

With my flatmate you will share a big kitchen also used as a living room with a big table to host dinners with friends, cook together, etc. There is also a big sofa (-bed) to chill or to host your friends.
From the kitchen you can access a big balcony facing a big green back yard.
The bathroom is small, but newly renovated and everything you need: washing machine, shower, massive mirror and sink.
We are looking forward to your texts, emails, whatsapps, facebook messages, pigeons, owls, messages in a bottle....

Neben dem Zimmer würdet ihr noch eine große Wohnküche erben mit großem Esstisch zum gemeinsamen Kochen und Essen, oder Spieleabenden, sowie ein gemütliches (Schlaf-)sofa zum Lesen oder Übernachtungsgäste hosten. Außerdem geht ein großer Balkon mit Blick ins Grüne von der Küche ab.
Das Bad ist klein aber fein und frisch renoviert: neue Dusche, neues großes Waschbecken, ein großér Spiegel. Was man/frau halt so braucht.
Wir freuen uns auf eure NAxchrichten, Emails, Anrufe, Brieftauben....

Die Wohnung befindet sich im schönen Bilk fast direkt am Volksgarten. ÖVN vor der Tür: 2 Minuten zu Bus und Bahn, 5 Minuten zur anderen Bahnhaltestelle.
Außerdem wärt ihr sofort an der Düssel, und 5 Minuten soäter im Volksgarten (super Joggingstrecke, mein Mitbewohner und ich laufen sehr gerne)
Außerdem in ein paar Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen: die Düsseldorfarcaden. (Mit Schwimmbad, Geschäften, Supermärkten, Fitnessstudio). Alles andere wie Altstadt/ Rhein etc. sind eher Fahrraddistanzen :)
The flat is in Bilk very close to Volksgarten. It is next to the Düssel, which is an amazing running course combined with Volksgarten (my flatmate and I enjoy running quite a bit).
Public transport is a 2/5min walk, depending on the tram/bus you take.
Also within a few minutes walking distance are the Düsseldorfarcaden with shops, supermarkets, swimming pool, gym etc. Altstadt and the Rhine are cyclling distance, or public transport.
Das Wichtigste - das WG Leben!
Mein Mitbewohner und ich sind als Unternehmensberater (und part-time super heroes trying to save the planet) nicht wirklich viel zu Hause, wenn, dann genießen wir aber ein harmonisches Miteinander aus Sport, Essen, interessanten Debatten, und the occasional movie oder Spieleabend, und manchmal auch einfach ein Nebeneinander und everyone minds his own business.
Myflatmate and I are management consultants (and part-time super heroes trying to save the planet), so we aren't home that often. But when we are, we enjoy it a lot, doing sports, cooking together, or lively debating the world and everything over a glass of wine, occasionally having a movie or board game night. Or we just mind our own business, sharing time is appreciated but not a must.
Am besten erreicht ihr mich telefonisch (abends unter der Woche, Wochenende ganztägig) oder per email für Fragen oder um einen Besichtigungstermin auszumachen.
