Liebe Suchenden,
unsere Dritte wird die WG leider bald verlassen, weshalb wir ab Mitte Dezember wieder jemanden für ihr Zimmer suchen. Den 15.12. haben wir bisher nur als Richtwert festgelegt, genau ist das Auszugsdatum aber noch nicht fix und kann sich evtl. auch noch um eine Woche verzögern. Da wird sich aber bald Genaueres ergeben.
Das Zimmer ist groß und ziemlich geräumig (etwa 24m²). Es verfügt über zwei große Fenster, die tagsüber viel Licht reinlassen. Alle Möbel auf den Bildern sollen im Zimmer bleiben und gegen einen Abschlag von 700€ übernommen werden. Für Neudüsseldorfer unter euch heißt es also nur, den Koffer mitbringen zu müssen und sich direkt wohlfühlen zu können. :)
In der übrigen Wohnung findet ihr neben einem einladenden Flur, einer Küche mit Sitzecke und einem kleinen Bad auch alles an Einrichtung, was man zum Kochen, Wohnen und Wohlfühlen braucht.

From the 15th December on (possibly also a week later; the exact date is going to be announced soon) there'll be a spare room for rent in our shared flat in Düsseldorf-Bilk. It's really spacious (24m²), has two large windows facing a small side street and will be completely furnished at the time of your arrival. As the furniture is almost new, you should be ready to pay a fee of 700€ for it. That being said, you only need to move in and make yourself comfortable :)
The rest of the apartment consists of a corridor, a kitchen with a cosy place to sit, eat, chat and drink as well as a small bathroom. Everything you might need for cooking or just feeling at home is going to be there.
In der Kopernikusstraße wohnt es sich recht nah an der Uni, mit dem Rad sind es nicht mehr als 10 Minuten zum Campus. Direkt um die Ecke, etwa 5 Minuten zu Fuß, liegt der Karolingerplatz. Hier hat man Anbindung an einige Straßenbahn- und U-Bahn-Linien (701, 704, U73, U83, U71), die euch in alle Ecken der Stadt bringen.
In direkter Wohnungsnähe kann man sich zwischen Netto, Penny, Rewe City (bis 24h geöffnet), Edeka und ALDI entscheiden und muss dafür nicht mehr als 5 Minuten laufen. Auch zum Kiosk/ zur Trinkhalle ist es nicht weit. Außerdem bietet die Umgebung eine sensationelle Pizzeria, ein Subway und zwei Tankstellen. Parkplätze sind leider eher selten, Fahrradfahrer können die reichlich vorhandenen Fahrradständer direkt vor der Tür nutzen oder das gute Rad in unserem Kellerabteil unterbringen.
Within a 5 minute walking distance from the apartment you'll reach the Karolingerplatz where you can take multiple trams and U-Bahnen (701, 704, U71, U73, U83). There's also a bus station right around the corner from where you can head to the campus of the Heinrich-Heine-Universität. Alternatively, you can also be on campus within 10 minutes if you prefer going by bike :)
Concerning stores and supermarkets you'll find everything you need nearby, including an awesome pizza place, a Subway, a number of Kiosks and two gas stations. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find a spot around to park your car. For your bike, in turn, there'll always be space - whether in front of the house or in the basement.
Wir versuchen, das Leben in der WG lebendig zu halten und sind gern auch gemeinsam unterwegs - eben je nachdem, wie es bei Jedem gerade passt :) In der WG wohnen außerdem Rose (26, aus Québec, Kanada, arbeitet als Fremdsprachenassistentin und liebt Kunst, Musik und Kultur) und Lina (27, aus Thüringen, schreibt an der Abschlussarbeit, interessiert sich für Politik und liebt gute Musik und Reisen). Wir sprechen neben deutsch auch französisch und englisch.
Wenn du uns und die Wohnung mal kennenlernen möchtest, kannst du gern ab Donnerstagabend vorbeikommen, wir können dann jeweils täglich (außer samstags) gegen 18 Uhr da sein und dir die Tür aufmachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Nachricht, ein paar Infos zu dir und einen zeitlichen Wunschvorschlag!
We try to keep the atmosphere in the shared flat as convivial as possible - totally in accordance with the plans and schedule each of us has or the mood we're in. We are Rose (26, from Québec, Canada, works as an assistant for foreign languages in a school and loves arts, music and culture) and Lina (27, works on her Master thesis, interested in politics and loves good music and travelling). We primarily try to speak German, but could also switch to French and English if necessary.
