Direkt vor der Haustür sind Haltestellen für Straßenbahn und U-Bahn (gut 5 Minuten Fahrt zum Hauptbahnhof).

Sowohl der Rhein als auch die Altstadt sind zu Fuß in 10 Minuten zu erreichen.
Ein Einkaufszentrum (Aldi, Edeka, DM, ...) und die lebendige Nordstraße sind ebenfalls nur 10 Gehminuten entfernt.

Stations for tram and metro (5 min drive to Düsseldorf main station) are directly outside the building.
There is a large park on the opposite side of the street.
The Rhein river and the Old Town city center are both within 10 minutes walking distance.
A shopping center with grocery stores and the lively Nordstraße shopping street are also just a couple of minutes away.
Gemeinsam benutzt werden die Wohnküche (mit moderner Küchenzeile) und das Bad (nicht ganz so modern, aber mit Waschmaschine).
Ich (= der verbleibende Mitbewohner) bin 32 Jahre alt und berufstätig - ich habe Wirtschaft studiert und arbeite nun im IT-Bereich. Ich arbeite teilweise im Home Office und bin daher gelegentlich auch unter der Woche tagsüber zu Hause. Gelegentliche WG-Geselligkeit, wenn es sich mal ergibt, wäre angenehm - ich finde es schade, wenn man mit jemandem eine Wohnung teilt, aber gar nicht so richtig weiß mit wem :-)

Common area consists of a modern kitchen and a not-so-modern bathroom, equipped with a washing machine.
I (= the one who you would be sharing the flat with) am 32yo and working (economist by education, nowadays working in IT). I'm working from home on a couple of days per week. I'd prefer not to share the flat with a complete stranger, so some occasional common activities or talking evenings would be nice :-)
