The room is quite a large bedroom with Linoleum floor, cupboard, Bed and desk. Heating comes from an older boiler/radiator system, and one large window provides a lot of light from the early morning until around 4pm. The kitchen is fully stocked, however the washing machine is currently broken and we are using the laundromat around 70m from our front door.
There is a bus stop, S-bahn station, Straßenbahn, and U-bahn all 2-10 minutes walk from the house, it is about 1.8km to the Altstadt, and 2.6km to the HBF, so it is an excellent place to cycle anywhere in the city, however it is hard to find parking in the area so it may be less than perfect for those with a car.
We are a semi-social WG, we have no living room, but once or twice a week we will generally cook together or have a cards night, however we are all quite busy and often not at home till late so generally we don't have time for more than that.
