Hello everyone,
We are looking for someone to temporarily take over my room in our cozy, multicultural and well-situated home at Scheibenstrasse 44, Düsseldorf, Pempelfort. The room is available from the 1st of January 2023 until 31st of August 2023 (8 Months). Our 4-people WG features Grazia from Italy, Xin from China, and Talal from Syria. Everybody is in their mid-twenties/early thirties and works. We love chilling out together e.g., cooking in the evening after work or going out on the weekends from time to time. This place feels like home and this vibe we would like to sustain.
To keep a 50/50 balance in the WG, we are looking preferably for a man. However, everybody is welcome to join and at the end of the day we will decide on the personal fit. If you are an easy-going and humorous person, you’ll like it here.
The flat is perfectly located with bus and tram stops as well as a metro station in near vicinity (5 minutes), connecting Hauptbahnhof and Heinrich Heine Allee. Literally in front of the door, you will have access to the Hofgarten and within a 3min walk distance you can find the famous Fortuna Büdchen. Further you will be in the Altstadt and at the Kasematten within 10 Minutes by foot.
It´s a vivid yet calm neighborhood and on the Nordstrasse (again just a 5-minute walk) you find a lot of small shops (groceries, drug stores, etc.), restaurants, and cafes. In addition, all supermarkets like Edeka, Rewe, Rossmann, DM, and Aldi are within less than a 15min walk distance.
The flat is on the 4th floor and the spacious room of 15m2 is fully furnished with a bed, a desk, a wardrobe, a clothes rack, a chair and two dressers.
The shared kitchen and living room is fully equipped with a microwave, a toaster, a smoothie maker, a rice cooker and everything else you might need. We have a shared fridge with a freezer, and everyone has its personal shelf. Also, we have a washing machine in the bathroom. Not to forget our balcony, where we chill in summer.
The rent to the landlord is 450€ and includes the rent itself as well as the service costs (heating and ancillary). On top of that come approx. 50€ for the shared services we use as a WG. These are electricity, internet, and Germany’s amazing broadcasting fees (Rundfunkgebühren). This sums up to a total of 500€ per month.
