The room is well decorated and fully furnished. The floor has carpet and the walls are white. The room has direct access to one of the balconies (other one is a winter garden). The balcony door also brings in light. Having a nice breakfast under the sun is an almost daily task in the summer. The room are a 140 x 90 bed, 2 shelves, mirror, wardrobe and a study desk and chair.
The location of the apartment comes in pretty handy. There are Lidl, Rewe, Aldi, Norma, dm, a turkish and a russian convenience stores, a small outdoor sports facility, pharmacies, DHL and Hermes offices in 10-15
mins walking distance. Reaching to the closest bus stop only takes 3-4 mins walk while SBahn station takes 6-10 mins. If you miss a bus, catching a different line to go to town center is also very fast thanks to other nearby bus stops. Bike will get you everywhere :D
Definitely a chilled out WG. All my flatmates speak German and English. We are currently not a only student WG but all of us are busy with something, eg. working/studying or soon starting for a master/PhD program, internship, language courses, etc. Everyone has their own schedule but we also like to share some time together and with our friends on the evenings or during breakfast time. We like to share our daily life with each other or have a discussion about politics, world problems or joking around. There are several other student WGs around and time to time we gather at one of the flats. It is a pretty international WG hence the writing in English but we all speak German, actually one of the guys is born and raised in Herzogenaurach :P.
Note that we have a weekly cleaning plan and buy some of the common items together so adds to the wg dynamic.
