Wenn Ihr nach einer gemütlichen WG mit sympathischen und aufgeschlossenen Mitbewohnis sucht, seid Ihr hier genau richtig!
Das Zimmer ist ca. 15 qm groß. Es ist hat einige Ecken und Kanten, ist dafür aber sehr hübsch mit kleinem Erker und Bogen . Durch die hohen Decken wirkt es außerdem noch geräumiger. Das Zimmer geht zur Henkestraße raus, was bei offenem Fenster etwas laut sein kann (zu geht es aber total). Das Zimmer befindet sich am Ende der Wohnung im sogenannten „Ostflügel“.
Die Wohnung besteht aus sieben einzelnen Zimmern, zwei Bädern mit Dusche und Waschbecken, zwei separaten Toiletten und einer großen, wohnlichen Küche, welche das Zentrum der WG darstellt. Hier ist genug Platz für gemeinsames Kochen, Spieleabende oder um einfach den Abend bei einem Bier, Wein, Sekt, Aperol, Apfelsaft, Tee, Kaffee, Wasser oder einer Mate ausklingen zu lassen. Die Ausstattung lässt fast keine Wünsche offen und bietet außer einer Spülmaschine alles was man von einer Küche so erwartet (wir sind aber immer offen uns von neuen Must-Haves überzeugen zu lassen). Nach kurzer Eingewöhnung ist aber auch das Spülen kein Problem mehr und es wird gemeinschaftlich darauf geachtet, dass die Küche sauber hinterlassen wird. Die große Couch lädt zum Prokrastinieren ein und ist vor allem während der Klausurphasen oder anderer stressiger Lebensabschnitte ein Zufluchtsort für verzweifelte Menschen auf der Suche nach Zuwendung oder Ablenkung. Trotz der sechs Mitbewohnis kommt es in der Küche und in den Bädern fast nie zu Gedränge, da alle ihre eigenen Tagesrythmen haben.
Im Haus befinden sich außerdem noch weitere WGs mit insgesamt ca. 20 Menschen und einem gemeinsamen Innenhof in dem im Winter beim Lagerfeuer und im Sommer beim Grillen die Abende verbracht werden können. Wenn Du also Anschluss in der Stadt suchst und nette Menschen kennenlernen willst, musst du dir darum hier keine Sorgen machen!

If you are looking for a cosy flat-share with friendly, open-minded flat mates this is the right place for you!
The room has got 15 qm and a cute bay window. The high ceiling makes it seem very spacious :). It is located at the end of the flat and the window is headed towards Henkestraße, which can be noisy if the windows are open (closed it’s totally fine).
The flat consists of seven bedrooms, two bathrooms with showers and sinks, two separate toilets and a big, cosy kitchen, which is the center of our flat-share. Here we’ve got enough space to cook together, have game-nights or just hang around while enjoying a beer or two. The kitchen is fully equipped and you will find everything you are expecting from a kitchen except for a dishwasher. But that’s not a big problem as the whole flat is careful about keeping everything clean and tidy and you will see that after a short time you will get used to washing your dishes yourself. The big couch is perfect for procrastination and especially during exam periods and all other kinds of stressful times accommodates desperate people searching for attention or just an open ear. Even with six flatmates the kitchen or bathrooms hardly ever get crowded as everyone has their own daily routine.
Furthermore, there are several other flatshares in the house with a total of around 20 tenants and a shared courtyard in which people can hang around having a fire in winter or barbecue in summer. So in case you are up to meeting new people you definitely won’t need to worry about that here!
Die Lage unserer WG ist wirklich top. Mit dem Fahrrad erreichst du die Uni (in der Stadt) in 3min, den Bahnhof und die Fußgängerzone in 5, die Technische Fakultät in 10 Minuten. Eine Bushaltestelle ist direkt vor der Haustür. Aldi, Netto, Bioladen und Mensa sind gleich um die Ecke. Auch ins Grüne brauchst Du nur 10-15 min mit dem Rad.

The flat is located in the center of Erlangen. By bike it takes 3 mins to the university buildings, 5 mins to the city center with train station and bars and restaurants, and 10 mins to the Faculty of Engineering. Bus station and supermarkets are just around the corner. It takes about 10-15 min to get into the countryside.
Wir sind ein sehr lebhafter und offener Haufen, der viel Lust auf ein aktives, gemeinsames WG-Leben hat. Dadurch dass wir so viele sind, gibt es immer wieder Wechsel und du lernst oft neue Leute kennen. Wir kommen aus den unterschiedlichsten Studienrichtungen (Medizin, Energietechnik, Lehramt, Soziologie, Physik) und eine von uns arbeitet als Krankenpflegerin. Generell hängen wir viel in der besagten Küche ab, wo wir nicht nur kochen, sondern allen möglichen Schabernack treiben und die großen und kleinen Sorgen des Alltags teilen. Natürlich kann sich aber jeder auch jederzeit in sein Zimmer zurück ziehen, wenn er:sie Ruhe braucht. Im Alltag sind alle recht viel unterwegs und gehen ihrem Studium, ihrer Arbeit oder ihren Hobbies nach. Abends oder an Wochenenden findet sich aber immer jemand, um etwas zu unternehmen. Frei nach dem Motto Alles kann, nichts muss.
Ein gewisser Sinn für Ordnung und Sauberkeit sollte vorhanden sein, sonst bricht bei 7 Leuten leider das Chaos aus.

We are a motivated and open-minded flat share, enjoying our time together and sharing our lives instead of just sharing our flat. We are from multiple fields of study like medicine, sociology, energy technology, teaching and medicine technology and some of us are already working (Ana is a nurse). We love spending time together in our kitchen, which we do not only use for cooking, but also for hanging around, making jokes as well as having serious talks. But it is always accepted, if you prefer to stay in your room and have some time for yourself. However, collective activities are always welcome.
A certain sense of order and tidiness is required in a such big household.
We are queer-friendly and do not accept any kind of sexism or racism!
