Hi we're looking for a new roommate in our beautiful apartment in Arroios.
Pets are theoretically allowed, but only if they are super quiet, because the upstairs dog is quite annoying and that could trigger our dog. Our last dog was super calm so that worked out.
APARTMENT:
The apartment has 72 m², 4 bedrooms. It is on the 2nd floor, very bright and has an open kitchen with a beautiful view over the surrounding roofs. It was completely renovated about 4 years ago, and recently again in two rooms. From the kitchen (microwave, stove, oven and dishwasher), you exit to our little shared balcony. The other balcony is accessible from another room. Everything is electric, no gas.
Water/electricity is included up to a total amount of 200€ per month, which should not be a problem in Portugal. WIFI is also included.
You would only share the bathroom with 2 other people because my room has its own bathroom.
ROOM:
The room is about 10 or 11 m², and has beautiful old wooden floors. It is fully furnished with everything you need like a wardrobe, dresser, desk, comfortable double bed, sheets and towels. The room has a lot of storage. Important to note: like a lot of typical Portuguese apartments, it has a window to the common area, but it has still a very nice view over the roofs of Lisbon. I can share a video where it is easier to see.
Arroios is a central and well-connected neighbourhood. Nice and calm street, close to miradouro da Penha de França, lots of parking.
Super good public transport connections: Arroios subway station (green line) is 4 minutes walking from home, Anjos (green line) and Alameda (red line) are 10 minutes away and of course many bus lines, but I prefer metros in Lisbon, because they are more reliable.
The Main street Avenida Almirante Reis is very close, there you can find almost everything.
Little super-markets are open until late at night. Continente and Pingo Doce are 4 minutes away and a mini mercado is literally 1 minute away.
Arroios' main food market is also 5 minutes walk. Because this is a multicultural neighbourhood you will enjoy food from Syria, Nepal, India and of course Portuguese.
Co-working spaces are also near and easy to get by bus or walking.
The technical university is within walking distance, in case we have some Erasmus people interested.
We like to cook or go for a drink together at the endless miradouros (lookout points) in Lisbon. If you've ever been to Lisbon, you'll know.
We like to have a chill environment but also keep it tidy. If you need any tips about Lisbon, we're here for you.
Please send a short text with the information about the desired move-in date, your activity (job, studies, etc...) and a short description of yourself.
You can also send your Insta or Facebook, it helps for the first impression.
It would also be great if you send a photo if you don't have a profile picture.
Looking forward to your message and see you soon!
