**FOR MAY 1ST** The apartment has 3 bedrooms, an eat-in kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, as well as an entry way that we converted into a living room. This listing is for a 20 sq meter room that also has its own balcony! It’s facing away from the street, so it’s very quiet and peaceful. All of the furniture in the photos are included, except for the bed and television. There is a basic ikea bed and mattress in the basement that is available to be used, you would just have to put it together. There is no fee to take over the equipment. The bedroom does not have the blackout curtains, which for me was not a problem as the sunlight does not shine directly in your room in the morning.
The other rooms of the apartment have tons of natural light, and the ceilings are very high. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, oven, stove, and dishwasher. In the bathroom there is a washing machine and a tub with a shower. There is also a smaller bathroom that is just a toilet and a sink. There is a cellar for bikes and also one for storage in the basement. Renting a parking space is also possible, but would need to be arranged with the landlord as there is a monthly fee.
This flat is a 6 minute walk to the famous Bergerstraße, which has farmer markets throughout the week. U7 and U4 are located within a 5-6 minute walk. Using the U-Bahn it takes 4 minutes to get to Hauptwache/Zeil and 15 to Frankfurt Hbf. Tram 14 stops 1 minute away from the flat. Bus stops are also located within a 5 minute walk. There are a variety of grocery stores located within a 4-10 minute walking distance (Rewe, Aldi, dm, Rossman, etc).
When the weather is nice, Ostpark is only a 10 minute walk away from the flat, allowing for easy access for picnics and running. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the EZB and access the Main.
The apartment neighbors are generally quiet, as most of the residents are retirees or mid-aged professionals.
This area is very safe, as I have always felt comfortable walking alone at anytime of day. Though it is located on Habsburgerallee, there is not a lot of noise from the street.
Anita, 27, and Sude, 23, are the other two girls in the flat. Anita is Italian and is currently studying for her PhD at Goethe. Sude is studying for her bachelors at university as well.
We enjoy doing things together such as cooking, drinking, or watching series. But also give each other space when it is desired.
We are all tidy and try to keep the flat clean and would appreciate someone likeminded.
This flatshare and the flatmates are really nice and I would stay here, but I am moving because of my job.
The 550 Euros is paid each month to the landlord. However, among the flatmates, is the cost of the WiFi and Deutsche Radioservice. The WiFi is 16.60 per month and the Deutsche Radioservice is 16.60 every 3 months.
Please message me some details about yourself so we can get to know you! Then we can schedule a video call. Given the current situation, we will first do video calls with those interested and then if the call goes well we can show the apartment in person.
