The room has 16m² and a big window toward the quiet backyard. Together with its bright floor and furniture, this room feels comfortably big.
It comes with furniture (desk, closet, and bed. A couch is also available if wanted).
All extra costs (energy, Netflix, water, internet, heat) are included.
PS: The color on the wall has been changed from purple to a grey tone.
Das Zimmer hat ca. 16m² wirkt durch den hellen Boden und die hellen Möbel aber größer.
Das Zimmer ist mit Tisch, Stuhl, Schrank und Bett möbliert. Eine Couch ist auch vorhanden und kann ins Zimmer gestellt werden.
Die Kosten beinhalten Strom, Wasser, Heizung, Internet und Netflix.
PS: Der Wandbereich wurde neu Gestrichen und ist jetzt Grau statt Lila.
The flat is located on Herder Straße, which crosses Berger Straße on the one side and Sandweg on the other.
It is less than 5 minutes walking to the next metro station (U4 Merianplatz), 5 minutes to Zoo (U6,U7) and less than 10 minutes walking to the next S-Bahnstation (Ostendstraße all lines).
Within a short walking distance we have 2 Penny Markets, a Rewe, dry cleaners and a huge number of nice restaurants, bars and little shops. Within a 20 minutes walking distance or 2 stations by U4 we have a Rewe City open until 23:30.
Also Berger Straße is one of Frankfurts most beautiful places to live, comparable to Munichs Schwabing or Berlins Friedrichshain Kreuzberg.
There is also a small park with a Chinese garden around the corner.
Die WG liegt in der Herderstraße, einer Querstraße zur Bergerstraße direkt am Merianplatz. Von der Wohnungstür in die Ubahn braucht man höchstens 5 Minuten, Treppensteigen inklusive. In 5 Minuten Laufweg erreicht man außerdem zwei Pennys, einen Rewe, diverse Geschäfte, hippe Lokale, Bars und Restaurants und in 15 Minuten läuft man an den Main (oder in 20min zur Konstapler Wache). Nach Bornheim sind es wenige Minuten mit dem Fahrrad oder 2 Stationen mit der Ubahn. Die U4 fährt von hier über Konstablerwache und Hauptbahnhof zum Campus
Bockenheim.
The Herder street flat share has a built a rich history and a network of friends from all over the world throughout the last 6 years. We have had flatmates from China, Korea, Kongo, Taiwan, Canada, France, and many more places. Many of us are still in close contact and meet up regularly for dinner or parties.
This has been possible due to the close relationship we try to build in the flat. Whether it is shared dinners, movie- or gaming nights with Mario Kart or Smash, we always tried to be more than just a place to live in.
Currently, the roommates are Clark and JuYoung. JuYoung has studied and worked in Toronto before and is now pursuing urban planning studies in Frankfurt. Clark is French American and has studied Computer Science and Finance related topic in France and is currently working in Investment Banking at Societé General. For a new flatmate, it would be great to keep traditions, such as an open door policy or the Rocket League games up, however, new activities are also always welcome. Maybe even a new tradition can be established, such as the Bavarian white sausage breakfasts of the initial founders Florian and Michael.
In this flat we value open door people who enjoy interacting with their roommates, keep the kitchen clean and tidy and act responsible.
In dieser WG wird es geschätzt wenn Mitbewohner nicht nur hinter geschlossenen Türen leben und auch mal auf einen Plausch oder ein Bier vorbeikommen. Ordnung und Sauberkeit, besonders in der Küche, sind auch sehr gern gesehen.
