We're currently looking for a new friendly face to join our WG!
This is a 15 m² room in our shared flat located in Nordend-West (next to Oeder Weg) and will be available from 01 September 2022. The room is street-facing, so you get a great view of our front garden and the lovely trees down our road! The room is equipped with a comfy big double bed which is included at no cost; with the possibility to buy from the current tenant: desk, rug, curtains, pillows, chest of drawers, clothes hangers, coffee table and iron for €120. (All pictured in the photos). All other expenses (such as utilities and WiFi) are included in your rent and are no extra cost.
The flat is in a beautiful old building (with parquet and amazing high ceilings). It's renovated, modern and fully equipped! There is a big bathroom with seperate toilet, built-in kitchen, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, nespresso coffee maker and washing machine. As mentioned, we also have an awesome wooden deck out the back where we like to spend time in spring and summer.
Just down the road we have a cute little park, and essentially everything you could need is within a 5-10minute walk. Oeder Weg is just around the corner which offers tonnes of restaurants, cafés, a number of bars and the Cinestar. There is also a nice big REWE within 10 mins walk, and we are only minutes away from the Grüneburgweg U-Bahn, S-Bahn and Bus stop. We are also close to a Fitseveneleven Gym, Elements and Fitness First and only a 15min walk away from The Zeill!
You'd be moving into our modern international apartment with Emily (32) who is Australian, and Julia (27) from France!
We are super friendly and laid back people - who love having a chat out on our big sunny deck or a casual kitchen wine. We will often make time to hang out whether it's sharing a beer, a glass of wine or going out for dinner/brunch (There is a huge assortment of great restaurants, bars and the cinestar just around the corner). The atmosphere is super chilled and relaxed at our place! We speak English together at home, but would also love to improve our German with our new flatmate.
We both work full time in creative fields, with a healthy balance of home office; so we would love someone who is respectful of our work/life balance. Please be courteous in common areas (kitchen, bathroom) and keep them clean and tidy. We are incredibly lucky to have a wonderful landlord who is always available and happy to help should you need anything.
