The room is large (21 sqm) and south-facing, thus bright thanks to the big window with a balcony. The balcony looks to the backyard, and the view on the glassed ECB building is beautiful at every hour of sunlight and at night.
The room is furnished elegantly and minimalistic with dark wooden furniture. All pieces of furniture are 1-year-old and in perfect condition. There is a wide desk by the window that can be regulated in height and a comfortable office chair. Perfect setup for working. In a corner, the elegant armchair with light from atop is ideal for reading. The bed has a storage room underneath and is 160x200 big. There are two nightstands. Mattress is included (Memory-foam mattress, 1-year-old). Black, light-shielding curtains secure a restful sleep. Also, there are two closets. One in the room and the other in the walk-in closet connected to the room. This space is also used for storage reasons and it connects directly to one of the two bathrooms of the WG (see picture). It is accessible only through the room and it is shared with only one other flatmate. The room privacy has always been well respected and sharing has never created a problem.
The tiled bathroom is the biggest of the apartment and has a large shower and a bathtub. There are two sinks, and the washing machine is located here.
The apartment is large (185 sqm) and fully furnished. It's on the last floor of the building, the 6th, and covers the full surface, therefore there are no neighbors sidewise. The kitchen is spacious and has an oven, a microwave, a new electric stove, two freezers, and a fridge. The living room has a large wooden dining table, a wide L-shaped couch, and a cable TV.
In left-wing of the apartment there is the hall with coat hooks, shoe closet, and wooden seats. The second bathroom is located here.
The apartment has a big terrace (30 ms2) with a deck. The view on the skyline from there is gorgeous, with the sun setting behind the buildings. With its outdoor furniture, the terrace is perfect for spring and summer nights with friends, relaxing, reading, or sunbathing. It's truly a magical place and the highlight of the apartment, envied by many ;)

You could find hardly a better position in town for accessibility while also being in a quiet neighborhood with green around.
The apartment is centrally located:
- Kontablerwache: 15 minutes walking distance,
- Bergerstrasse: 10 minutes walking distance
From the apartment is very easy to get quickly anywhere in town or outside the city. There are many transportation options nearby:
- Ostendstrasse S-Bahn station is 1 minute away by walk from the apartment (S1, S2, S3, S4, S6, S6, S8, S9)
- Ostendrasse tram line is even closer, just at the end of the street (Tram lines 11 and 14)
- Zoo U-bahn station is 1 minute away by walk from the apartment in the opposite direction (U6, U7)
Moreover:
- The Main river and Europapark (park next to ECB with training and sports facilities) are 10 minutes walking distance
- It's easy to access the park crowning Innenstadt, only 3 minutes from the apartment.
- Rossman, Penny market, and a pharmacy are 2 minutes walking distance from the building, as well as cafeterias and bakeries.
- To Rewe supermarket is a 7-minutes walk.
There is basically everything you need within 5-minutes walking distance!
The neighborhood is quiet, and the entrance to the building is in a parallel street from Ostendstrasse with little traffic (Theobald-Christ Strasse, 8). Also, the neighbors in the building are quiet and respectful.
The current tenants are fantastic tenants to have. Respect for the time and privacy of each other has always been present. Despite being a total of 5 tenants the apartment is large enough so that it never feels "crowded". Thus, for example, the kitchen has never been overcrowded while cooking because of our different schedules and lifestyles. There are never more than 2 people in it cooking at the same time.
Currently, the WG is international, although everyone has been living in town for more than 2 years at least. 2 Germans, 1 Turkish, and 1 Italian. The main language of the apartment is English, but it's no surprise to hear at times German, Italian, Turkish, Croatian, or Portuguese, because of our international heritage. We are all workers and often travel either for business or leisure.
It's easy to crack a laugh, strike up a conversation, or receive help in this WG. We all have our lives, schedules, and appointments, but we always know that we can count on each other.
Tasks are well distributed so that the administration of the apartment is taken care of collaboratively.
If we do something together it's on free choice. Once in a while we eat and drink something together on our summer terrace and enjoy the night and the stars during warm evenings.
We are all very respectful of leaving common areas cleaned and tidying up after hosting guests. A cleaning lady comes weekly to help with common spaces.
A cleaning lady comes on a weekly basis to take care of the common areas. It is expected the new tenant to contribute to the monthly payment for this service. The frequency of the cleaning service might change at times, therefore costs flactuates, but at most the expected contribution is of €28.
Also, the new tenant is expected to take over existing furniture. Prices and what to keep can be negotiated.
We are open for internationals and each gender. Age is not the important point, but the mindset is.
