Background about the house:
The house is a part-preserved part-restored home with 3 levels and a basement floor. Each floor operates as its own WG with 3 housemates per floor. In the front shared garden there is an outdoor table/bench set, and an area for bikes. During the warmer periods of the year we often relax out the front with drinks, and host barbecues or parties etc. The house also has a cleaning lady that comes once a week.
The age group of those in the house lies in the mid-20s to early 30s and the majority come from international backgrounds (i.e. Spain, Russia, US, India, China etc., in addition to Germany), so English is naturally the common language of the house and internationals are very welcome. Practically everyone is in the early/mid stages of their career working across a variety of professions/industries.

The room is approximately 20sqm, located on the second floor, and comes furnished with a large bed, desk, wardrobe and cabinet, and also a small fridge (changing some stuff is also possible though).
Background about the location and area:
The house is in an excellent location near the heart of Sachsenhausen (Nord), and is within walking distance proximity to all the essentials:
- 3 minutes to Schweizer Straße (main street), which has an abundance of cafes, restaurants, bakeries, bars, cider houses etc.
- 3 minutes to U-Bahn stations Schweizer Platz and Südbahnhof (lines U1, U2, U3 & U8)
- 3 minutes to S-Bahn station Frankfurt Süd (lines S3, S4, S5 & S6)
- 5 minutes to a Rewe and Rewe City, HIT and Lidl supermarkets as well as a Dm and OBI
- 10 minutes to the Main river, as well as the Museumsufer embankment
There are also a number of Straßenbahn tram lines that can be accessed via Schweizer Straße. The main station (HbF) can be reached in 10-15 minutes door-to-door with the U-Bahn, as well as the main inner-city areas (e.g. the Zeil, Konstablerwache etc.). The airport is also approximately 20-25 minutes away via the S-Bahn.
Max (31, German, working in engineering/packaging) and Miriam (32, German-Swedish, working at Samsung), both of whom are easygoing and have their own side passions like getting creative in the basement workshop, gardening or cooking, and are of course up for the regular Feierabend beer.
We would prefer to have someone that is between 25-35 and working, and most importantly open and fun to live with :)
The monthly rent is 665 eur and includes all utilities as well as wifi, GEZ and cleaning lady costs. The deposit is two months’ rent.
