Wir suchen ab Anfang Juli (vermutlich 07.07.) einen neuen Mitbewohni als Ersatz für Rike, die leider schweren Herzens auszieht um mit ihrem Freund zusammenzuziehen. Wir sind Kathy, Lucia und Marius, alle Mitte/Ende-zwanzig und alle irgendwo zwischen Master und Berufseinstieg. Wir sind eine progressive WG und uns ist wichtig, dass du das auch bist. Rassismus, Homophobie und Sexismus haben bei uns keinen Platz. Wir sprechen in unserer Wg eine Mischung aus Deutsch, Englisch und Spanisch, wie es gerade passt. Wir können aber auch alle fließend Deutsch und Englisch.
Das Zimmer (ca.~10m² Grundfläche) ist klein aber gemütlich mit einem Fenster in Richtung Osten und durch die Richtung von der Straße weg sehr ruhig. Da die WG im 2. Stock unter dem Dach ist hat das Zimmer eine Dachschräge. Wir wohnen ungefähr 30 Sekunden entfernt von der Haltestelle Lindenbaum in Eschersheim, haben also eine richtig gute Anbindung sowohl zum Riedberg als auch ins Westend und in die Innenstadt (alles ca 10 mins). Parken kann man bei uns auch ganz gut, wir haben aber alle eh kein Auto, sind also nicht ganz so sicher.
Der gemeinsam genutzte Balkon (15m²) geht von der Küche ab und ist mit einer Sitzecke, Tisch und Pflanzen ausgestattet.
Das Bad hat zwei Waschbecken und eine Badewanne, angeschlossen an dieses ist ein separater Raum mit Dusche und Toilette.
Als Lager stehen sowohl ein Keller (gemeinsam genutzt mit der WG im 1. Stock) wie auch ein Dachstuhl zur Verfügung.
We are looking for a new flatmate from the beginning of July (probably 7 July) to replace Rike, who is unfortunately moving out with a heavy heart to move in with her boyfriend. We are Kathy, Lucia and Marius, all in our mid/late twenties and all somewhere between a Master's degree and starting our careers. We're a progressive flat share and it's important to us that you are too. Racism, homophobia and sexism have no place here. We speak a mixture of German, English and Spanish in our flat share, as appropriate. But we are also all fluent in German and English.
The room (approx. ~10m² floor space) is small but cosy with a window facing east and very quiet due to the direction away from the street. As the flat share is on the 2nd floor under the roof, the room has a sloping roof. We live about 30 seconds away from the Lindenbaum stop in Eschersheim, so we have a really good connection to the Riedberg as well as to the Westend and the city centre (all about 10 minutes). Parking is also quite easy, but we don't have a car anyway, so we're not quite as sure.
The shared balcony (15m²) leads off the kitchen and is furnished with a seating area, table and plants.
The bathroom has two washbasins and a bathtub, connected to this is a separate room with shower and toilet.
Both a cellar (shared with the flat share on the 1st floor) and an attic are available for storage.
Die WG ist direkt an der U-Bahn-Station (Lindenbaum) mit den Linien U1, U2, U3 und U8, und somit muss man meistens nicht länger als 2min auf die nächste Bahn Richtung Innenstadt warten.
Außerdem in bester Lage um den Uni Campus Westend, den Uni Campus Riedberg und das City Center in unter 10 Minuten zu erreichen.
Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten mit Nahkauf und Penny in der Nähe, sowie eine Tankstelle und eine Trinkhalle.
Auch zum Joggen sind die naheliegenden Felder und Parks (Niddapark, Sinaipark) gut geeignet.
Der Balkon ist morgens und abends in der Sonne, mittags jedoch im Schatten, gerade für den Sommer ist das sehr angenehm. Vom Balkon schaut man auf die Bäume der benachbarten Gärten und ist fühlt sich somit im Grünen.

The WG is directly at the subway station (Lindenbaum) with the lines U1, U2, U3 and U8, and therefore you usually do not have to wait longer than 2min for the next train to the city center.
In addition, it is in a good location to reach the University Campus Westend, the University Campus Riedberg and the City Center in under 10 minutes.
Good shopping facilities are Nahkauf and Penny nearby, as well as a gas station and a kiosk.
The nearby fields and parks (Niddapark, Sinaipark) are also good for jogging.
The balcony is in the sun in the morning and evening, but in the shade at noon, especially for the summer this is very pleasant. From the balcony you look at the trees of the neighboring gardens.
In der WG wohnen Katherine, Lucía und Marius:
- Katherine (27) studiert im Master Friedens und Konflikt Forschung an der Goethe Uni. Sie kommt aus Mexiko und macht gerne Kampfsport.
- Lucía (26) studiert BWL in Mainz.
- Marius (28) arbeitet irgendwas mit Wirtschaft. Er tanzt gerne und ist auch leidenschaftlicher Kampfsportler.
Wir haben einen Putzplan mit wöchentlichem Wechsel der Aufgaben und halten und gewissenhaft an diesen.
Wir sitzen gerne mal abends in der Küche bei einem Äppler oder Ähnlichem zusammen, im Sommer auch mehr auf dem Balkon.
Katherine, Lucía and Marius live in the shared flat:
- Katherine (27) is studying for a Master's degree in Peace and Conflict Research at Goethe University. She comes from Mexico and enjoys martial arts.
- Lucía (26) is studying business administration in Mainz.
- Marius (28) works in something to do with economics. He likes dancing and is also passionate about martial arts.
We have a cleaning schedule with a weekly change of tasks and we stick to it conscientiously.
We like to sit together in the kitchen in the evenings with an ‘Äppler’ or something similar, and in summer more on the balcony.
