Hello everyone!
We're looking for a subtenant for my cozy room in our 125 m², 5-room old building apartment in Freiburg (Wiehre). The sublet period is from July 1, 2024, to August 4, 2024 (5 weeks).
We are Priya, Alejandra, Jonathan, Eliana, myself, and our two adorable cats, Rojo and Momo. Everyone in the flatshare works or studies in Freiburg. On weekends, we love culinary cooking and chillout sessions on our balcony, listening to music, or going to the Dreisam.
The room is 13 m² in size and furnished with a pallet bed, a large shelf, a clothes rack, a table, and a dresser. Additionally, the apartment has a large basement compartment and access to a flat roof where you can enjoy the most beautiful sunsets.
In the beautiful modern kitchen, there is plenty of space for communal cooking evenings. It is also connected to the balcony, which offers a wonderful view of the forest. The toilet is a separate room. Due to ongoing energy-efficient renovations, we cannot use the regular bathroom. Therefore, the landlord has installed a replacement bathroom with a shower in the basement (Important! You have to shower in the basement). Due to the renovations workers occasionally will be around but I barely notice them. If there is a rent reduction due to this, I will pass it directly to you.

Die Wohnung befindet sich in der Oberwiehre an der Scharzwaldstraße und ist damit super zentral gelegen.
In unmittelbarer Nähe kannst du bei Edeka, Rewe, Aldi, DM und verschiedenen Bäckereien einkaufen. Mit dem Fahrrad bist du innerhalb von 7 min in die Uni Bib und in 10 min im Stühlinger.
Zu Fuß ist die nächste Straßenbahnhaltestelle 3 min entfernt. Das gleiche gilt für den wunderschönen Wald, der in südlicher Richtung direkt hinter dem Haus liegt und von dem aus man geniale Wanderungen starten kann. In 4 min Umkreis gibt es verschiedene Bars sowie einen Hanf-Shop.
The apartment is located in Oberwiehre on Scharzwaldstraße and is therefore super centrally located.
In the immediate vicinity you can shop at Edeka, Rewe, Aldi, DM and various bakeries. By bike you can reach the university library in 7 minutes and Stühlinger in 10 minutes.
On foot, the nearest Tram stop is 3 min away. The same applies to the beautiful forest, which lies in a southerly direction directly behind the house. In 4 min radius there are various bars as well as a hemp store.
Wir sind Priyanka, Alejandra, Eliana, Jonathan, Marc und Rojo (unser Kater).
Marc ist während des genannten Zeitraumes in Madrid (Erasmus) und vermietet sein Zimmer aus diesem Grund unter. Priyanka, Alejandra, Eliana und Marius bleiben in der WG. Wir arbeiten/ studieren alle in Freiburg und hegen ein besinnliches und harmonisches WG leben. Unter der Woche gehen wir allen unserem stressigen Alltag nach. Am Wochenende kochen und feiern wir zusammen. Mit den anderen WG’s im Haus starten wir auch die ein oder andere Party. Generell ist das Leben im Haus sehr vernetzt unter den WG’s. Also ideal wenn man neue Leute kennenlernen will.

Marc is in Madrid (Erasmus) during the mentioned period and subrents his room for this reason. Priyanka, Alejandra, Eliana and Marius will stay in the WG. We all work/study in Freiburg and cherish a contemplative and harmonious WG life. During the week we all go about our stressful daily lives. On weekends we cook and celebrate together. Once in a while we organize our own party's in collabo with the other WG's in the house . In general, the life in the house is very networked among the WG's. So it's ideal if you want to meet new people.
