We have a large room for rent in an even larger apartment in Herdern, in a prime location. We would be happy if two people moved into this room together, as it offers good space for two people who get along well. The room is currently furnished. If desired, we can furnish it differently or empty it so that you can bring your own furniture.
The rent is initially limited to half a year, as we do not know whether the room may be temporarily uninhabitable due to construction work in summer and fall 2025.

It is very quiet in Herdern and you can enjoy the beautiful view and the direct proximity to the wonderful forest and the city center.

There are currently two Indian guest academics living in two rooms of the flat. They are very quiet and almost always in their rooms or at university. I (Thomas) spend most of the winter in Freiburg renovating other rooms in the house. There is a large living room and a balcony that you can use.
