Unser Haus ist in Freiburg-Hochdorf, etwas stadtauswärt und (leider) nähe Autobahn. Allerdings haben wir einen relativ großen Garten mit
viel grün und Seezugang.
Absolut nicht in Uni-Nähe, 30-60min in die Stadt je nach Fahrrad und
Ziel.

Our house is in Freiburg-Hochdorf, a bit out of town and (unfortunately) close to the motorway. However, we have a relatively large garden with
a lot of green and access to the lake.
Absolutely not close to the university, 30-60min to the city depending on the bike and destination.

WG-Leben

Wir sind keine hunderprozentige homogene Gruppe, aber haben viele
Überschneidungen in Sachen politischer Arbeit und Meinung. Wir sind eine
linke WG, die in ihrem Zusammenleben mit anarchistischen Praxen arbeitet
und möglichst hierarchiearm sein will. Wir haben keinen Bock auf Sexismus, Rassismus, Homo- oder Transphobie oder andere Arten der Ausgrenzung. Leider ist unser Anwesen allerdings absolut nicht Rollstuhlgerecht...

Unser Haus sehen wir als Form des alternativen (zusammen-) Wohnens und
wollen es als solches erhalten. Wir dürfen und müssen das Haus und den Garten selber in Schuss halten, das heißt, es fällt auch etwas Arbeit an und wir freuen uns auf motivierte Leute die in irgendeiner Weise anpacken wollen.

Unsere Lebensmittel teilen wir und beziehen wir zum Teil lokal und regional, von Kooperativen, Kollektiven oder lokalen Kleinbäuer*innen...Ohne Supermarkt können wir aber auch nicht. Vieles ist Bio und ein nachhaltiger Gedanke bei fast allem was wir machen, geht der Aktion voraus.

Wir treffen uns mindestens einmal im Monat um organisatorisches zu besprechen. Wir teilen uns ziemlich viel und verstehen uns als Gemeinschaft, die sich gegenseitig hilft und versucht zu unterstützen. Wir nehmen Anteil am Leben unserer Mitbewohnis, Wir sind keine Kinder der Traurigkeit und lachen gerne. Wir trinken, essen, kochen (meist vegan, manchmal vegetarisch aber es gibt hier auch ein paar Menschen die Fleisch essen),
arbeiten, putzen blabla gerne gemeinsam. Wir sind eine große WG mit
vielen Gästen, es kann hier also schonmal viel los sein aber manchmal ist es auch sehr ruhig.

Hier wohnen Menschen mit unterschiedlichen Muttersprachen, neben deutsch sprechen wir oft auch Englisch. Wir haben eine süße Katze.

ENGLISH

We are not a 100% homogeneous group, but we have a lot of overlap in terms of political opinions. We are working more or less with anarchist practices and we want to be as less hierarchical as possible. We don't want sexism, racism, homo- or transphobia or any other kind of exclusion in our household (or anywhere else). Unfortunately, our property is absolutely not wheelchair accessible...

We see our house as a form of alternative living and want to keep it as such. We are allowed to and have to maintain the house and the garden ourselves, which means that there is some work involved and we are looking forward to motivated people who want to lend a hand in some way .

We share our food and get some of it locally and regionally, from cooperatives, collectives or local small farmers... But we can't do without a supermarket either. Much of our food is organic and a sustainable approach to almost everything we do precedes the action.

We meet at least once a month to discuss organisational matters. We share quite a lot and see ourselves as a community that helps and tries to support each other. We take part in the lives of our fellow residents. We are not children of sadness and like to laugh. We like to drink, eat, cook,
work, clean blah blah blah together. We are a big flat-sharing community someimes also a lot of guests, so it can be very busy here, but sometimes it is also very quiet.

People with different mother tongues live here, we often speak English as well as German. We have 3 dogs and a cat.
