Hi! I’m Sara, an student at the Musikhochschule looking for a roommate starting 1.8.
The room is quite spacious with high ceilings and lots of natural light! It is positioned between the other two rooms and has a lovely view onto the other old buildings on Gresserstraße :)
The bookshelf and wardrobe will be left behind as Helen cannot take them with her, for 70€. Of course you can sell them if you don’t need them but unfortunately they must stay in the room.
The washing machine is also quite new, so there will be a 100€ expense if you decide to move in to cover the cost.
We are located just a two minute walk from the Dreisam, 3 minutes from the ZO, 7 minutes from the Musikhochschule, and maybe 10-12 minutes to the Innenstadt by foot, 5 minutes by bike! The location is my favorite part of the WG.
Being an international student in Freiburg, I know it can be hard finding a place that feels like home and I’m really hoping to help another international student (or otherwise) find a cozy WG where they can feel comfortable and safe!
I also speak German (though it tends to really be Denglish haha), but I wanted to make sure those who don’t are not excluded!
This room currently belongs to Helen, who is completing her studies and in the other room is Hannah, but she will also be leaving in either September or October for München.
We are looking to make a decision by Friday at the latest, so the sooner the better! Texts/WhatsApp are preferred!
