The room available is located in a 3-person flatshare, and is thus one of three bedrooms. There is also a shared kitchen, bathroom, and lovely balcony that gets great afternoon sun.
The room has nice wooden floors and high ceilings, with a giant window that faces the balcony (with a nice view of the Stühlinger Kirche). Full-length blackout curtains keep things nice and dark in the morning if you want to sleep in. Furnishings include: a very comfortable double bed, 2 nightstands, a standing clothes rack, a large wardrobe, and a desk.
Fantastic location. Two minute walk to the hauptbahnhof, yet the room is quiet as it faces the garden rather than the street. Five minute walk to tram on Eschholzstraße (lines 1,2,3,4). Ten minute walk to city center. Lots of restaurants/cafes/bars right around the corner. Five minute walk to Edeka and Ariana for groceries.
The flat comes with two lovely roommates. Paul (26, German) is studying for a law exam in the middle of March (and so he has requested a quiet flatmate... :)) and Gaby (30, Mexican) is pursuing a Masters in Environmental Governance. Lots of good vibes in this flat. We are respectful of each other's space, but enjoy hanging out in the kitchen and on the balcony, cooking and eating together. We keep the common spaces clean, and are looking for someone who agrees to do the same :)
I am planning to travel until I resume classes on April 20, and am looking for someone to fill the room until then. Move-in date is flexible, and can start anytime this week or next (Feb. 25 - March 10, with rent adjusted accordingly). However, the move-out date of April 19 is firm, as I arrive back to Freiburg on that date.
My availability is very flexible at the moment, so would be happy to show the flat at any time.
