Spacious furnished room on the 1st floor of a house in north Vauban. The room is large and receives a lot of sunlight through four windows. Furniture includes a large bed, sofa, two small tables, wardrobe, mirror, and some shelves. The first floor is accessible via a staircase (not wheelchair accessible). There are three other rooms in the house that are occupied, two on the first floor and one on the ground floor (2 women, 1 man). The house has a spacious kitchen with a brand new oven&stove and there is a sun room where we eat, study, work and relax. There are two bathrooms, one shower. Washing machine is in the basement. The house has a garden which is used for barbecues and for growing vegetables. House has good WiFi connection.
House is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood in northern Vauban. The tram station is 4 minutes away. The city center is quickly reached via tram (3-4 stops), or bicycle (10-12 minutes). The house is also close to an Edeka, 4 minutes away by walking.
You will be living with three roomates: Linda (German), Lucia (Spanish), and Izayah (New Zealand). The preferred spoken language is english, but all three speak german (I do not). They have either full-time or part-time jobs, but students are welcome in the house (I am one myself). The environment is very chill and relaxed, the house is quiet with the occasional weekend hang-out.
We are looking for a chill responsible person to sublet the room for a couple of months while I am away to conduct research in a foreign country. Previous experience with WG life is preferrable. Please let me know a bit of who you are and what you do. First available day to move in is the 15th of May, but you can also come in the 1st of June.
Rent is 475 euro/month warm
