Das Zimmer ist im ersten Stock und hell – wie die gesamte Wohnung. Es hat bodentiefe Fenster und Parkettboden.
Die Wohnung geht über zwei Stockwerke, hat zwei Bäder, einen über 40 qm großen Wohn-/Essbereich, eine gemütliche Terrasse, einen schönen Garten ... oh, und wir haben noch eine zweite, kleine Terrasse, die an heißen Sommertagen angenehm schattig ist.
Im Haus sind insgesamt zwölf Wohnungen und wir leben eine sehr unkomplizierte und herzliche Nachbarschaft. Ein freundlicher Small Talk ist immer drin – und nachbarschaftliche Hilfe sowieso.

The room is on the first floor and bright - like the entire flat. It has floor-to-ceiling windows and parquet flooring.
The flat is on two floors, has two bathrooms, a living/dining area of over 40 sqm, a cosy terrace, a beautiful garden ... oh, and we have a second, small terrace that is pleasantly shady on hot summer days.
There are twelve flats in the house and we live in a very uncomplicated and cordial neighbourhood. A friendly small talk is always possible - and neighbourly help as well as

Unser Viertel, das Vauban, wird oft als autofrei bezeichnet – stimmt nicht ganz, aber hier gibt's nur wenige Autos, dafür viele Spielstraßen und Grün. Mit anderen Worten: Es lebt sich schön im Vauban.
Der Schönberg liegt vor der Haustür und ist perfekt zum Spazierengehen, Joggen oder Mountainbiken – gerne auch mit netten MitbewohnerInnen. Oder man gönnt sich einen Cappuccino mit Blick auf Freiburg am Jesuitenschloss.
Zur Endstation der Vauban-Straßenbahn sind es vier Minuten zu Fuß, tagsüber fährt die Linie 3 alle paar Minuten, dazu kommt der 11er-Bus. Mit dem Rad ist man in zehn bis fünfzehn Minuten in der Innenstadt. Plus: Eine Frelo-Station ist ebenfalls um die Ecke; Carsharing direkt vor der Tür.

Our neighbourhood, the Vauban, is often described as car-free - not quite true, but there are only a few cars here, but lots of play streets and greenery. In other words: it's nice to live in Vauban.
The Schönberg is on our doorstep and is perfect for walking, jogging or mountain biking - and you're welcome to do it with nice fellow residents. Or you can treat yourself to a cappuccino with a view of Freiburg at the Jesuit Castle.
It's a four-minute walk to the terminus of the Vauban tram, number 3 runs every few minutes during the day, and there's also the number 11 bus. By bike, you can be in the city centre in ten to fifteen minutes. Plus: a bike sharing station is also around the corner; car sharing right outside the building.

Wir, Bettina, Marjukka and Frank, sind zwischen Mitte 30 und Mitte 50, berufstätig und immer mal wieder im Homeoffice, zum Teil auch längere Zeit.
Wir alle leben schon lange in WGs. Wieso? Leben in Gemeinschaft macht schlicht mehr Spaß als alleine.
Dir geht es genauso? Dann bist du bei uns richtig!
PS: Wir freuen uns auf eine:n Mitbewohner:in m it Freude am Zusammenleben (und der:die vielleicht sogar Lust hat, bei unserem Lauftreff am Mittwoch Abend mitzuflitzen :-) )

We, Bettina, Marjukka and Frank, are in our mid-30s to mid-50s, work and sometimes work from home, sometimes for a longer period of time.
We have all lived in shared flats for a long time. Why? Living in a community is simply more fun than living alone.
