We are quite a new WG constellation, and therefore many ideas on how to build a WG is very welcome. We are all working full-time currently, and thus, it is rather quiet during the week. However, we never say no to a beer or two in the evening or a join/t cooking session.
The room has a large window facing south - overlooking the Sternwald. So there is plenty of light! The room itself is about 20sqm with a nice wood parquet floor. We also have a big balcony looking over the forest, in which we have to go thru Neil or Karen’s room but we are very welcome to use. It is a great place to have breakfast and coffee together! There is a small balcony in the kitchen additionally.
The room is available from the 15th of November on. The rent is 520 included everything, but with the current situation it may increase a bit. There is also plenty of space in the basement if you need to store your things.
The WG is located in a beautiful wiehre district. Everything is within 5-10 minutes walking distance including a trip to the Dreisam or into the forest.
Our roommate Bar is moving out and we are looking for someone to replace him. You will be living with three other nice people.
Niel is a computer scientist from Kolkata, India. He is an easy going person who likes reading books, playing guitar and in his free time, you can also find him in the badminton court or hanging out with his friends at the bars.
Ben works in the field of renewable energy. He is from Laos and loves to cook and learns about food. He practices ashtanga, goes bouldering regularly and likes to be in nature.
Karen - an Ecuadorian environmental engineer who works in an NGO here in Freiburg. She loves to cook and spends time outdoors. She also plays both tennis and table tennis!
We all are easy going and open minded people. Our WG values openness, direct communication and a degree of cleanliness. We do not have fixed meetings or joint activities and everything kinda happens spontaneously. In short, everything can and nothing must. :D
we are planning to do a casting on the 1st and 2nd of November. However, if any of these dates is not suitable for you - write us anyway and we will find another date that works! :)
