I'm offering my WG room to sublet from the beginning of December (01/12/2020), until the beginning of January (approximately 5/01/2021). I'm subletting my room, because I'm currently back home in the Netherlands due to the Corona crisis and all my classes are being offered online. However, after the Christmas break I would like to come back to Freiburg again.
The room is situated in Zähringen with an Edeka at 3 mins walking distance and an Aldi and Rewe at 10 mins walking distance (or 3 mins by bike). There is a tram stop at 5 mins walking distance that goes straight to the city center, and a bike ride to the center will take you about 20 minutes.
You will share the apartment with 3 housemates. One of the other rooms is occupied by Josy, a 26y/o actress from Switzerland. Another room is occupied by Pedro, he was in my room temporarily, but now moved into his own room in the flat permanently. Lastly, Ricardo is currently sub-renting a room in the flat until mid-January.
The room you will live in is about 12 square meters, it has a window that lets in a nice amount of light, and I will leave most of my furniture in the room (desk, chair, big shelf closet, small shelf closet, laundry basket) which you're free to use.
The WG itself is very pleasant, with a fully equipped kitchen, a separate toilet, a spacious bathroom (which contains a separate shower, 2 sinks, a bathtub, and a laundry machine), a dining space, an inbuilt storage closet, and last but not least a big balcony with couches to enjoy the sunshine. In front of the apartment building there is a little park with playground. The WG atmosphere is quite relaxed, everyone has space to do their own thing, but is also down to have a chat while making dinner.
The rent for the room is 220 euros per month, with a one-off 300 euro security deposit.
