Your new space is made up of two adjacent rooms with in total about 20m2. A laminate floor is already installed. The room comes with a framed bed (ad-hoc fitting structure) and a small couch that Martha, the current tenant, will leave here for free. A cupboard is also available for free, if you like (the photo of the cupboard in the ad is only representative of the model, it is not the actual one).
The room has a window facing the shared balcony, which is pointed toward the inner courtyard and thus it is quite calm and free of street noises. As the window directly faces our balcony as well as the ones of other neighbors, you might hear chit-chatting people during the warm summer nights. If this disturbs you, the windows are quite sound-proof ;).
In the WG there 2 other rooms, one toilette with bathtub and a view, a cozy kitchen with access to the small balcony, very quiet and sunny (nice for chilling in summer :)). The other people living in the house are friendly and nice. There is access to a cellar with limited storage space. There is also possibility to park your bike in the backyard of the house .
The rental cost includes everything (garbage, radio tax, internet, energy costs and so on...)
You live right close to the tram line number 4! The station Tullastraße is right in front of the house. Free parking space for cars can be easily found around the house. Grocery stores like Alnatura and a Bakery are right opposite of the house, whereas other services like gas station, Döner, restaurants, Rewe, Edeka, dm, Post, Aldi, Obi, bike shops and Ikea are reachable easily in few minutes walking.
The place is also very close to the forest and there is a park nearby as well, for pleasurable walk or hike!
Here we are Martha, Frauke & Carmine! as Martha is leaving the flatshare, there is space for you!
a little bit of us...
Frauke is 28 years old and is currently doing her PhD in molecular biology at the University in Freiburg. She is spending most of her daily time in the lab but whenever there is some free time she likes baking, singing in a choir and is occasionally sportive ;) She does enjoy working out in the fitness studio and tries to keep as regular as possible. She is also very much enyoing anything with riddles so board games, Escape Rooms or anything alike are always welcome!
Carmine is 31 years old and comes from Italy. After 6 years spent around in Germany, he is currently working as a postdoc at Fraunhofer. In his free time he also likes to enjoy his free time doing sport (football, beachvolley, table tennis...), meeting friends afterwork for a drink or having dinner together. He likes to socialize with people a lot, better if in front of a beer or a nice glass of wine :) ah of course it has to be mentioned, he still tries to learn German :D
As for the shared life in this WG:
Meeting up in the kitchen is always a nice occasion to chat and share daily experiences, perhaps with a coffee or a tea or whatever. As we have had different routines and time schedules over the past months, finding time for WG shared activities has been difficult and our together to-do list is getting longer and longer.... thus you are ideally a motivated person to shake this up! For us it is always important that a nice flatshare atmosphere coexist within us :)
We picture you as a respectful person who would like to join our relaxed and uncomplicated flatshare. We are not party-animals anymore and we are happy about our 8-hour sleeping time, although if there is fun we are up to it!
We do have a weekly basic cleaning plan for the flat and we would like to keep the flat tidy and clean.
We are omnivores and we'd like a peaceful coexistence of different food orientation! :)
The room is to be rented from middle February/beginning of March 2024.
Ideally you are an self-reliant student/apprentice/PhD student who has had already experience with flatshare and would like to join us! You are a nice, funny and social non-smoking person between 25 and 35 years old.
