25 y/o (f), incoming PhD student looking for a flatshare from August 1 :)

Hello!

I'm Amruta, currently finishing up my master's thesis in Hamburg. I moved to Germany in November 2020 for the master's program in climate sciences. I'll be moving to Freiburg in the summer for a PhD starting in September. I'm already looking for something from August onwards.

Something about me - I speak a little German, but I want to improve(my current flatmate and I have a funf minute Deutsch rule per day, but it's not working out so well because of stressful exam seasons xD). I like living with people and think it's the best way to get to know a city- by living in a flatshare! I've heard great things about Freiburg; I'm excited to move down south from Hamburg a bit closer to the mountains :) I usually go to the local kino or bouldering in my free time. I love cooking, eating together, and spending time with the people I live with, but I also like to spend time alone. I've lived in flatshares in the past and lived with friends, and I enjoy building a community for myself through friends and flatmates. I usually have friends over for dinners or games night (I am a big fan of catan and durac!) I've just started following the SC Freiburg women's football team, so I'd be down to watch the games together at home or go to a local pub, too!

And of course, like in any flatshare, I'd also expect and follow the basics of keeping the rooms tidy and respectful behaviour and giving each other space :))
