Dear Fribourgers,

I am at the beginning of 30, a lawyer from Nairobi, looking for a quiet room in Freiburg or the surrounding area from 01.05.2025 – ideally in St. Georgen, Haid, Vauban or Merzhausen.
I would like to conclude a 1-year rental contract, as I visit my two-year-old daughter about four times a year – each for about 30 days per stay. So the room would only be occupied occasionally.

The following points are important to me:

The room should be quiet and clean – the size is second. There is also a room that is otherwise used as an office, for example, because I am not so often there.

Stable WLAN

Good connection to ÖPNV or bike-friendly location


I'm non-smoker, quiet, neat and a mindful roommate. The room would really only be used temporarily as I have to run my company in Nairobi and often be on site.

ich bin Anfang 30, Jurist aus Nairobi, und suche ab 01.05.2025 ein ruhiges Zimmer in Freiburg oder Umgebung – idealerweise in St. Georgen, Haid, Vauban oder Merzhausen.
Ich möchte gerne einen 1-Jahresmietvertrag abschließen, da ich meine zweijährige Tochter etwa viermal im Jahr besuche – jeweils für rund 30 Tage pro Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer wäre also nur gelegentlich belegt.

Wichtig sind mir folgende Punkte:

Das Zimmer sollte ruhig und sauber sein – die Größe ist zweitrangig. Auch ein Raum, der sonst z. B. als Büro genutzt wird, kommt infrage, da ich ja nicht so oft da bin.

Stabiles WLAN

Gute Anbindung an ÖPNV oder fahrradfreundliche Lage


Ich bin Nichtraucher, ruhig, ordentlich und ein rücksichtsvoller, achtsamer Mitbewohner. Das Zimmer würde wirklich nur zeitweise genutzt, da ich mein Unternehmen in Nairobi führe und oft vor Ort sein muss.
