beautiful WG room in central location schönes WG-Zimmer in zentraler Lage

The WG is almost in the heart of pouring. It is located in a multi-family house with elevator, in which mainly students live. You don't get much of the other tenants with you when you hit them but they are very friendly and we always take packages for each other in the house. Our WG is located in the 1.OG and has 3 rooms, hallway, kitchen, a large bathroom with shower and a guest bathroom. In the basement there are 2 washing machines and a tumble dryer, which can be used by coin injection. Large garbage containers for the house are around the corner, we don't have to put the tons out and also don't clean a stairwell or something; this takes over the house administration.

Right in front of the front door is the city centre with some shopping facilities and the New Town Gate is just a stone's throw away. The city centre is 2 minutes walk away. Within 5 minutes you can go to the Lahnwiesen, where you can walk super and chill in the summer. Also the botanical garden and the swan pond are not far away. In about 7 minutes you are also at the train station and by bike you need a maximum of 15 minutes to each campus. For those who prefer to drive bus, there are some bus stops nearby.

Die WG liegt quasi im Herzen von Gießen. Sie befindet sich in einem Mehrfamilienhaus mit Aufzug, in dem hauptsächlich Studenten wohnen. Man bekommt nicht viel von den andern Mietern mit, wenn man sie trifft sind sie aber sehr freundlich und wir nehmen im Haus auch immer Pakete füreinander an. Unsere WG liegt im 1.OG und verfügt über 3 Zimmer, Flur, Küche, ein großes Bad mit Dusche und ein Gästebad. Im Keller befinden sich 2 Waschmaschinen und ein Wäschetrockner, die man durch Münzeinwurf nutzen kann. Große Müllcontainer für das Haus stehen um die Ecke, wir müssen die Tonnen nicht rausstellen und auch kein Treppenhaus putzen o.Ä.; das übernimmt die Hausverwaltung.

Direkt vor der Haustür befindet sich die Innenstadt mit einigen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und auch das Neustädter Tor ist nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. In die Innenstadt benötigt man 2 Minuten zu Fuß. Innerhalb von 5 Minuten ist man an den Lahnwiesen, wo man super Spazieren gehen sowie im Sommer chillen kann. Auch der botanische Garten und der Schwanenteich sind nicht weit weg. In etwa 7 Minuten ist man ebenfalls am Bahnhof und mit dem Fahrrad benötigt man maximal 15 Minuten zu jedem Campus. Für diejenigen, die lieber Bus fahren, befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe einige Bushaltestellen.

Meline and I live in the WG. Meline is 27 and runs out in June. I (Paulina) study funding school teaching and work alongside as HiWi at the Institute of Biology Didactics.
Since the WG is not a purpose WG, I would like to be happy with an after-rent*in, who also likes to do something in common, with it being of course respected if you want to rest. Otherwise, living together is very harmonious and uncomplicated, but you should not be afraid of cleaning. :D

In der WG wohnen aktuell Meline und ich. Meline ist 27 und zieht im Juni aus. Ich (Paulina) studiere Förderschullehramt und arbeite nebenbei als HiWi am Institut der Biologiedidaktik.
Da die WG keine Zwecks-WG ist, würde ich mich über eine*einen Nachmieter*in freuen, der*die auch gerne mal etwas gemeinsam unternimmt, wobei es selbstverständlich respektiert wird, wenn man mal seine Ruhe haben will. Ansonsten ist das Zusammenleben sehr harmonisch und unkompliziert, du solltest jedoch keine Angst vorm Putzen haben. :D

The apartment is almost 8 years old and is well equipped. We have a large fridge, a small dishwasher, microwave, toaster and everything else you need.
Wi-Fi is also available, for which we pay €34.99 per month. Therefore, the warm rental is currently around 369€ (with electricity and heat).
If you'd like to, you'd have to add GEZ.

There are parking spaces in the courtyard and in the underground garage for an additional fee. You can explain this with our landlord. Bicycles can be parked free of charge in the underground garage.

Die Wohnung ist knapp 8 Jahre alt und ist gut ausgestattet. Wir haben einen großen Kühlschrank, eine kleine Spühlmaschine, Mikrowelle, Toaster und alles was man sonst so braucht.
WLAN ist natürlich auch vorhanden, wofür wir monatlich 34,99€ zahlen. Daher liegt die Warmmiete aktuell bei ca. 369€ (mit Strom und Wärme).
Ggf. käme auch noch GEZ hinzu.

Gegen einen Aufpreis gibt es Parkplätze im Hof und in der Tiefgarage. Das kannst du mit unserem Vermieter dann abklären. Fahrräder können kostenlos in der Tiefgarage abgestellt werden.

In der WG steht noch ein weiteres Zimmer zur Verfügung (auch als Anzeige bei WG-Gesucht), falls du jemanden kennst oder du auch dafür Interesse hast, dann gebe mir gerne Bescheid :).
