The room is very luminous with an east-facing window and two accent walls in a soft buttercream yellow. Despite the central location, the room is super quiet thanks to the thick walls and insulating glass on the windows.
The apartment is approx. 140 sqm large, well-ventilated, dry, and bright. It has a large tiled bathroom with a washing machine and dryer, as well as a big shower, bathtub, and toilet. There is also a separate small guest WC.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, electric hob, oven, and many other kitchen gadgets.
The bright dining room is used as a social/ co-living space. Besides the bathroom, the whole apartment has light wood-like vinyl flooring.
The location of the apartment could not be more convenient:
- Directly next-door to EDEKA and EDEKA Getränkemarkt
- 5-minute walk to the University Clinic/ Naturwissenschaft Campus
- The Friedrichstr. and Klinikstr. bus stops are respectively 1-min and 3-min walk away
- Railroad station (Hauptbahnhof) is only a 6-7 minutes walk away
- The city center is also within walking distance (less than 15 min)
We are a close-knit group of international students/ young professionals.
Our WG has a tradition of welcoming people from all backgrounds. It is the perfect environment for studying/ working from home/ relaxing, without compromising on the positive aspects of communal living. We usually keep things quiet during weekdays while we are all busy. On weekends, we often gather to cook and dine together, share a few glasses of wine, have a lively discussion, and occasionally indulge in some card or board games. In the warmer months, we like barbecuing on our big balcony, going on picnics, hiking, and doing other light outdoor activities.
As much as we respect each other's privacy, we prefer that everyone is equally included in our group gatherings and all-important decisions about WG life. Household chores are shared between the flatmates and the shared spaces are kept clean and tidy.
We are looking for a like-minded, easy-going person to join our happy little group. Locals and internationals are welcome! Our shared flat language is English :)
The room is fully furnished with new/ gently used furniture. All other costs are included in the rent (utilities, internet, GEZ, etc.) It could be possible to rent the room long-term if you fit in nicely with the other roommates.
