My room is a nice fully furnished room in the very centre of Giessen (Ludwigstrasse, in front of the main University building, 5-10 min from the campus, the hospital, the train station...), aprox. 18 m2. It's in a spacious shared flat with 3 other people (mostly doctoral students, clean and very friendly).
I am a PhD student myself (studying at the GCSC of the JLU) and am moving out because I am finishing my studies. My contract is valid until July 2016, so I would like to subrent my room until then, the subrenter can then have a rent contract after July.
I would also like to sell all my furniture (double bed with matrasses, wardrobe, 2 chests of drawers and small bedside drawers, desk, chair) for the symbolic price of 100e (since I unfortunately cannot take it with me).
Rent is to be paid to me May- July (and to the agency afterwards), the costs are to be managed together with other flatmates. Deposit is to be paid to me, you get it back from the agency when you move out.
Ludwigstrasse 32, in front of the main UNI building. It's in the very centre of Giessen, 5-10 min from the train station, the citiy centre, the university, the hospital... shops, bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants minutes away by foot.
Currently occupied by 2 doctoral students and one student (all girls, but we're welcoming people of all genders, orientations, nationalities...). We are all working and studying, so a quiet but friendly bunch. Sometimes we also cook together or invite people over, but in general it is a peaceful and cosy place to stay.
