The flat is in Geismar/Göttingen, the room to sublet is cosy and only for one person. The room is about 14 square meters and has beautiful pine furniture (a bed, 2 wardrobes, desk, bookshelf, etc.). The rent (250 €) includes an internet access as well as extra charges (e.g. DSL, telephone, light, water, etc.).
Kitchen and bathrooms are to be shared. The kitchen is equipped with many electrical devices (stove, oven, refrigerator, a modern microwave, etc.) as well as with a dining table, but dishes/glasses and cutleries are of personal use and therefore you need to bring your own. The bathroom has a bathtub and a shower. The washing machine is in a separate room.
I have the allowance of the landlord to sublet part of the flat (room, sharing the kitchen and bathroom), but he does not want a "WG", so please, be aware that it is not a shared flat, I am only renting a room and sharing the bathroom and the kitchen. Of course, you could also use the garden to read or rest, this is no problem.
The house/flat is very well located, it is in a quiet neighbourhood and is close to many shops, it has a terrace and a large garden. The building has four flats, in the other floors two other live families. Many shops (bakery, Nahkauf, REWE, pharmacy, bank, 2 gas stations, hairdresser, etc.), doctor's surgery and the IGS Göttingen are a few minutes away from the apartment.
Several bus lines are just around the corner. The downtown is less than 3 km far away from the flat, it can be reached in 8-10 min by bike. The main university building is 4 km far away from the flat and can be reached in 12 – 15 minutes by bike, 11 minutes by car, in 22 minutes by bus and walking it would probably take about 30 - 40 minutes. Göttingen is a small city, so everything is quickly accessible.
I love living in this flat, because although it is little (69 m2), it is more than enough for two people.
Unfortunately, I had bad experiences in the past and would like to avoid them. Therefore, you need to know, that privacy is very important for me, so your friends or family could visit you on an occasional basis, but they cannot stay overnight. That means, if you (want to) have a boyfriend/husband, this room is not convenient for you. Male visitors are not wished. I prefer a single female student, who perceive the room as a place to have tranquility and peace, not as a place to socialize. I like parties (a lot), but not in the flat. ;)
As your future landlady you need to know that I finished already my studies (English / Spanish MA) long time ago. I speak Spanish, English and German. I love travelling, dancing, reading and cultural life.
The ideal flat-mate is friendly, quite, honest, responsible, respectful, reliable, non-smoker, clean and tidy and has similar interests as me. I am seeking a nice and interesting subtenant who emphasizes order and cleanliness, and considered the apartment as a peaceful place. Also really important is that this person can pay rent/bills on time. If you are interested, please write me an email with information about you (Name, age, studies, nationality, interest, etc.).
